They had big hopes at the beginning because they had the fastest car on the grid. Red Bull were struggling with big problems like durability. Verstappen and Perez both had bad days then. However Red Bull still managed to fix things very quickly. This time Ferrari had the same problems but the thing was that they weren't capable of solving them. After Leclerc captured a big advantage over Verstappen he was suddenly way behind him. Leclerc deserves a fair fight for the title so I hope Ferrari return better than this.

Easy to fix your problem if you ignore the budget cap and find solutions to your problems with extra money while at the same time your opponents remain within the cap, not only they need to fix the problems of the car but also they need to push even more to the limit because you are cheating.

This is the situation exactly. Red Bull have fixed everything thanks to spending more money than they are allowed. The other teams must be really regretful for not doing the same because it is only a fine for the punishment nothing more than that. I bet there will be some teams doing the same next season. I will be looking forward to seeing FIA's decision about them as well.

If they don't make the same decision as the one they will make for Red Bull then we will be sure of FIA's goal. If they apply the same rules to every team without any problem then I won't think about them as partial at least for now. But this still doesn't change the fact that Red Bull have benefited from many failures by FIA in this season.

For next year I don't think to spend over cap will be needed as 80% of all teams have started early their car preparation for the 2023 season so I expect a very strong season in the next one.

Jorge Martin of the Pramac Racing team managed to set a new all-time lap record in the Australian MotoGP qualifying and has already broken Jorge Lorenzo's record time of 9 years ago. And Marquez managed to occupy the second position after getting towing from Bagnaia who will be in third position for tomorrow.

This is very amazing because Australia has a good atmosphere and very beautiful scenery on the beach and always presents a fierce battle on the circuit, as seen in tomorrow's starting grid where for the 3rd, 4th and 5th place is occupied by the world title fighters this season.

The drivers made the game unique with their techniques,but the game was not same when the car conditions was not good.So constructor of the car also place a huge role in the game of race.The money he spend more on car,the car condition will increase more to the maximum level.The engineering team will make a huge difference in the performance of the car with their technology and techniques.But they implemented the technology based on the budget allotted for the car.They can’t spend their money for the updating of car performance.

You know what would be the perfect "FIA did it again move"? I think that it would make sense for them to want more competition isn't it? Last year's deal where the winner was decided on literally the last lap was something awesome for their viewership. I do not know the ratings or how much money they made, but that must have been one of the most watched races of all time, at least up there somewhere.

This means we are talking about something that is a big chance again, how? Well, Red bull could get points deduction, and Max could get it as well, how much? They would get it enough to make it a tough challenge between Max and Charles, that would work out for them for the good.

I wonder if FIA's decision will be the same for Mercedes as well.    I really don't trust them anymore and it wouldn't make me surprised if they decide upon a different punishment for a different team. They really have a potential to surprise people very often.

In terms of risk, the third position for Bagnaia is indeed very good because he must always consider the points and continue to be on the podium, because on this day Quartararo also made a fatal mistake by going off the track and slipping backwards which in the end crashed. Next week MotoGp will be at the Sepang circuit in Malaysia and Bagnaia should be able to get as many points as possible so Bagnaia can relax a bit in the closing race in Valencia for this season.

in the race it was very clear that Bagnaia's mentality was very good, he didn't do anything wrong and he didn't have much ambition to be the fastest he just kept his position to be safe and take points in this race and that's exactly what he did.

And one more thing that I saw was, Bagnaia did not overtake excessively, except when there was a possible gap, so Bagnaia also had time to lead the race.

He made the right call to be rational rather than go all in like a racer would do.I think now that only two races are left and to have 14 points of advantage is a huge advantage for him as it is a sure thing that he will fight until the last race for the title even if he God forbid crashes in the upcoming race and Quartararo wins it,they would go with 11 points difference to the last race.

I think that Bagnaia based on his performance during all the season deserve more than anyone else to win the MotoGP this year.Most likely he will win it if he manages to be rational again and does not rush in hunt for points which can cost him the race.

Look the idea is simple, last year when they gave the championship to Max, that was a very bad move that was not liked by anyone aside from Max fans, but it has been done, and we have past another whole season and know the champion of the season after that, I feel like it was very quick, like I can remember the championship of last year just like yesterday, it’s weird feeling that it has been nearly a year since that day, but it’s true, we have another seasons champion already.

So, going back and saying "no Hamilton got it" would be very tough deal and I do not think that it would be possible anymore, the bad decision was already given, "fixing" it would look even worse.

They have signed Pierre Gasly for the free spot as you know. Gasly and Ocon are both very ambitious young drivers. They are even at the same age. As they both like to fight hard I will be wondering about the in-team competition between them also. Alonso had really hard times against Ocon from time to time. Because Ocon is racing so ambitiously that he is making big difficulties for even his teammate. Actually Gasly must be used to this kind of a teammate as Tsunoda also likes to push. If Gasly and Ocon have a good relationship with each other then I feel like Alpine can collect many more points next time.

It depends on how much they will be able to develop the car also though.

Most likely next year all of the teams will be better in car development as they have started really early the development for next year car.Based on that what I think we should be thinking is not Gasly coming to Alpine but why Alonso got to Aston Martin in the first place,Alonso had really strong performances with Alpine,I doubt he did it for money,he has enough money to not care about them anymore (despite many saying money is never enough).

I think he is promised a really competitive car for next year at Aston Martin and he is still a strong driver which want to win races and I hope this is the case more than that of the money.

Marc Marquez managed to get his first podium of the season and also his 100th podium in the premier class, so he is celebrating with great joy after a fierce battle with several riders at the Phillip Island track and it seems that he really enjoyed the race yesterday with a Honda bike that has been wearing a fairing brand new and it turns out the bike is actually doing really well at Phillip Island. Whether at Sepang this week will be the same, let's see.

looks like Marc Marquez has started to recover completely with his injury and there is no problem about it anymore and of course Marc Marquez is in a fit condition he will be able to give his best performance, Honda fits perfectly with Marc Marquez's characteristics and only Marc Marquez is currently able to control it with very good.

If this has indeed been seen since Marc Marquez was in the Honda team, but after he suffered an injury and Honda made a few changes by overhauling the bike, then Marc Marquez's splendid performance was lost in several races this season and also last season. Marc Marquez does have a good record at Sepang and also often gets good achievements there. But for this season to be exact on Sunday I think there will be an even more exciting fight and Marc Marquez will be in that fight if he can control the bike very well as seen yesterday at Phillip Island.

Last weekend was a very big step for Bagnaia towards the title, the momentum is definitely with Bagnaia and no longer with Fabio. The two zero points are more than annoying for Fabio and should not happen like that, especially not to a world champion. The next track should also benefit Bagnaia and Ducati again.

I assume that Bagnaia will not risk everything to get on the podium at the next race.

A tough race for Quartararo. He is the only Yamaha rider to be in the top ten. Ducati dominated the start even in the final result as well although Rins and Marquez were in first and second place the next order was Ducati with four riders. Quartararo fought for points but I thought he fell. This makes losing points and Bagnaia more likely to win this season. Although there are still two races left, the odds look difficult for Quartararo.
