Hello everyone, i have and XFX RX 580 GTS 4gb @default. Untill a few days ago i had about 25.5MH/s hashrate....after a crash, i have just 18.5 MH/S hashrate. Don't know why system freeze (i have other services on that server). The PSU is a Seasonis S12-II, the system is UBUNTU 16.04 LTS. I try upgrading to last mining driver (amdgpu-pro-17.40-483984) and also to ClayMore 10.4 version...
How i can check my frequency under linux? Thanks in advance

Hi Claymore,
I've received a few reports from users running Awesome Miner to monitor Claymore Ethereum miner about issues with larger number of GPU's. In some systems when you have a large number of GPU's, you get a timeout on the Claymore monitoring API - it simply doesn't respond within a reasonable time. If the user is starting the mining process with a few GPU's less, then it works fine again. So when you go above a certain number of GPUs, the monitoring API isn't working even if the mining itself is running fine.
Is this a know issue? Are there any workarounds?
Thanks!
Please send me some logs so I can check the reason. I have the same problem with eth manager too, all rigs up to 6 cards work perfect, all ( 6 rigs ) with 12 cards timeout constantly and reconnect after 10sec to 10 min for couple of secconds before it timeouts again Exact same problem with v10.4. On a 6 card rig EthMan reporting works fine. On my ASRock H110 Pro BTC+ 13 card build EthMan drops the connection and reconnects frequently. I am running the Adrenaline v17.12.2 drivers on both rigs and it makes no difference if EthMan is running on the 6 card or 13 card rig.

Hello, i Have 2 RX580 Samsung memory (modded for mining) I am using Claymore for ETH and Decred, so dual ming with GPU0 and GPU1. This is the code I use setx GPU_FORCE_64BIT_PTR 0 setx GPU_MAX_HEAP_SIZE 100 setx GPU_USE_SYNC_OBJECTS 1 setx GPU_MAX_ALLOC_PERCENT 100 setx GPU_SINGLE_ALLOC_PERCENT 100 C: cd C:\miner C:\miner\ethdcrminer64.exe -epool eu1.ethermine.org:4444 -ewal xxx -epsw x -dpool dcr.suprnova.cc:3252 -dwal xxx -dpsw x -dcri 20 -tt 70 -tstop 85 -fanmin 50 -fanmax 100 -mvddc 850,850 -cvddc 850,850 -mclock 2150 -cclock 1130 All the value set by the command line are accepted by the GPU0, minimum fan voltage etc etc. Temp OK, Fan Ok https://image.ibb.co/iiyO6m/index2.jpgThe problem is on the second GPU (#1). It seems that value are not accepted and I'm not able to undervoltage it. https://image.ibb.co/cwWMsR/index.jpgThe voltage remains to 1,15V, no minimum fan and temp get worst as soon as I start the miner script. What could be the problem? I have also tried both to double all the value (mvdcc cvddc etc etc) bot the let them single, but with no luck, Same voltage on the GPU1. The strange thing is that If i use both GPU in single mode (so i disconnet one GPU at a time), all the value are perfectly set. If I try to use at the same time, the second GPU1 doesnt get the valure imposed on command line. I've also tried to use previous version of claymore but the error remains. Thanks for your time to read this.

I use Claymore to mine Music coin. My cards are 2GB only, so miner fails when DevFree starts, sometimes hanging the whole system. Is there a way for me to make it work, except for disabling DevFee and reducing my speed?

You could try putting -allcoins exp and -allpools 1 in the command line or config file to see if it will mine Expanse for the devfee instead.

Yes, Mike I have the same observation! I suspect, a boat load of Vega cards started mining Siacoin today after the fix in v10.4 and nanopool is unable to keep up! Check your nanopool shares tab, it should reflect the shares every hour. -Sumanta

I have dual mining dev fee question.
How it's calculated 2% ? split 1% on main and 1% on other coin ? it's 2% on main coin ? 2% on main and 2% on other ?

Another thing that works for me... lunch the mine sfw and after start mine, close and open claymore... 3 times... in some cases when the config didn't get, I do that and works.

Here's a new one-
Last week i left to go on a cruise and my hashrate was 168MH/s Mining ETH on Nanopool. I have a rig of 5 RX580 8GB and 1 RX570 4GB all of them were pushing 25MH/s to 28MH/s consistently. Some time while i was gone the power went out and the system rebooted itself and now I can only get 122MH/s out of the entire rig.
I went through and did a fresh install of Ubuntu with the AMDGPU Blockchain drivers (installed with --compute to only give me the computational aspects of the driver) and set my Large Page Support to "9" in /ect/defaults/grep, only this time the large page support does nothing. Where as last time it brought my hashing from 122MH/s up to the 168 MH/s i came to know a love oh so well.... Anyone have any idea what could have happened to slow the hashrate down so much?
Ubuntu 16.04.3 Claymore 10.4
I did see something about increased difficulty, but 40MH/s drop??? That seems a bit excessive. I hope one of you can shed some insight onto what may have happened.
