Yes this year will be the year of the bitcoin and not 2017 in my opinion plus its indeed far away from now no one can predict the future of the bitcoin.
The bitcoin is unpredictable and no one knows what is gonna happen or if there are upcoming events in that year that will make it a bitcoin year..

That we will see by the end of this year, but not sure where bitcoin will land in the next year as anything is possible with bitcoin and thinking too long will be the waste of the time.

Why 2017, when 2016 is showing so much good activity. A nice price at this moment, when the financial markets are looking for new investing oppertunities. Things are looking very good at this moment.

Bitcoin's success isn't tied to a certain year. Every year so far has been the year of Bitcoin as it has been growing constantly.

Bitcoin wasn't at its best in last year but it has started to grow now in this year and we expect the same in coming years and halving will help us to see best price of bitcoin.

It depends. What you think is a bad year for Bitcoin, can be seen as a good year by someone else as far as the price goes. Bitcoin growth as in user growth is a different thing. It's growing year after year.

why 2017?some people tak about this year,i even seen thread that mentioning "2016 is the year of the bitcoin" its good i think,and 2016 not yet over,its too quick for make wish in 2017.

I also think its too early to call 2017 the year of the bitcoin, I honestly think the year of the bitcoin will be this year because of the halving and the growing part from users and also stores that are coming up everyday.

I also think like that, we still dont know whatnwill happen after halving, but i can see a good development from bitcoin, i think 2016 is not bitcoin year we still need few years to make bitcoin shine

In my point of view, 2016 will be the start of the progress of Bitcoins and bitcoin will reach high values.

I think 2017 will be very quite for bitcoin and nothing specialwe will not see. I think if price will reach 600$ + this year, i will say that 2016 is the year of bitcoin.

Isn't it the same as "bitcoin is dead" etc, etc? The different is, we are just counting this every year. Only, this one is too early .
Anyway, IMO, every year, bitcoin is shaping up, getting better and bolder. Every year, more and more individuals are having knowledge about crypto currencies, especially in bitcoin.

not 2017, i think when bitcoin will remain in this world, so every year of bitcoin, because now bitcoins have achieve the place that bitcoin will never come back, passing the time bitcoin will grow up not only 2017.
