Bug report:

Gigabyte 1070 Aorus:

[..]
Applying CoreOffset: 0 MemoryOffset: 0 for GPU 5 with GPU Type: 3
Available power limit for GPU 5 is 105.00 W, 240.00 W
Applying PowerLimit: 105 for GPU 5

Available power limit for GPU 6 is 105.00 W, 240.00 W
Applying PowerLimit: 105 for GPU 6

Can anyone explain why it's clearly configured both via the web and the configuration to set the power limit to 80 but instead its applying those high power limits?

Hi,

I would like to report a problem that I have been having. I have downloaded the zip file, flashed it to a 16 GB USB with Etcher then plugged in to the motherboard. On the BOOT options, I can't see the USB flashdrive. It is still booting from HDD. I have tried different USBs and I can easily boot linux from the same USB if I install linux but can't see the simplemining.

Is there any fix for that or am I doing something wrong?

Does anyone know what  version and settings  to run for Pandminer (470 version)  with simplemining? So damn  tired of  the Pandaminer  Windows crap
Also, do I use the  dagfix version or  not?

All mine (i have 30 470 pandas) are on Smos and they are hashing at 235.  I can't log into smos at the moment it must be down but I did not mod the oc setting or anything as I recall.

EDIT:

Ok just logged in:
no mods but visible settings on screen are
1145
2100

core - blank
mem - blank
underv - blank
ps - 6
tt- 75

I think those Pandas out of box are already ROM modded to somewhat "low power".

The blank/blank/blank thing on smOS is to set settings at default so all is good.

Hello,

I found a bug in simplemining.

When a mail with a '+' in the lhs is used for the account (like me+you@domain.com), the rigs will fail to register with the site and won't be visible in the dash board. The + is a perfectly valid separator, so I guess this is a bug.

Took me about 2 days to figure it out.

Yep, I figured that out a few weeks ago when I used smos for the first time, I use the + to see what sites are sending me spam and don't reg on sites that don't allow it. So if I started getting spam from say vyprbtc+smos@vyprbtc.com i would know it's smos sending me the spam.

I had the same problem the first time, my mobo was unable to detect the USB Key with SMOS.
First disable the UEFI, then in the booting option, just select 'USB key' (the generic name)

Host your ASICs in Siberia for $0.07/KW all inclusive. Contact me for information.

Got a ASUS ROG Stix RX570 card (Elpida)
It suddenly runs only at 4 MHz ETH under smOS
When I boot it to Win10 it runs at 23+ (which is also low considering that it's modded) with same exact overclock settings (1150/2000/850)
I'm dazzled with what could possibly be wrong here.
Any help appreciated.

Quick Question -

Does smos not order the GPU's based on what slot they're in?

I have a rig of 13, 3 of them are 570's, and the rest are 580s

For OC purposes, I put the 570's in the first 3 slots. However, when looking at the dashboard, there are indeed 3 CC/MC figures that are lower than the rest (the 570's) but they aren't the first 3 in the list! They are all spread around.

Does anyone know how smos orders the GPU's and how I can be sure i'm OC'ing the right card?

Not really even from ssh u will view both as Ellesmere 4g/8g

the best approach so far it to hot unplug USB from rise and see which GPU hangs Tongue

i did that on one of my rigs

It is almost impossible to know which is which GPU. however SMOS has one good feature.
In SMOS, Usually lets say GPU3 is always GPU3.
In windows every restart is totally reseting gpu numbers.
