Why do you people want to mine ETH? Dark DAO actually had attacked ETH. It is almost same as Litecoins. So what is special about ETH? How can I be sure to trade or mine ETH? Isn't BTC the safest coin to mine?

Kraken added this and does not even have an option for ETC withdrawal. What a scam, can't believe half the crypto community supports this obvious exploit of principles.

What use is the Address,  i don't think ethereum classic have a working block/address explorer.  When i search for my ETC mining address on https://etherscan.io/address it shows as zero balance.... however, my mist browser node/wallet shows a healthy increasing balance.  Cheesy

Any news on the upcoming Classic fork to manage the exponential diff curve time bomb?  That needs to be sorted as we wont be switching to a PoS in January like the Ethereum team planed.  At least i hope we have no plans for PoS.  It would be nice to shift to PoC then anyone could use any computer to mine.
We need a cilent /lite wallet too.  Any news on any of these?

Here is what I found in the Reddit regarding the hacker address:
All leaked ether is in a child DAO at https://etherchain.org/account/0x304a554a310c7e546dfe434669c62820b7d83490

This one does not work.  If i enter my ETC mining address it says "not found"
Yet i got ETC sitting on it and miners at etc.nanopool.org sending ether classic to it!
