Hey everyone

There are several different types of Bitcoin clients. The most secure are full nodes like Bitcoin Core, which will follow the rules of the network no matter what miners do. Even if every miner decided to create 1000 bitcoins per block, full nodes would stick to the rules and reject those blocks.

I have been reading forums for ever but still manage to read over the Intro thread.
I was looking for something new to research, remembered hearing about some cryptocurrency thing back in 2009 and decided to check it out.
I've been online since way back when, I believe it was 1996 sometime. I will probably be online after I die, I plan on taking my tablet or what ever we have around that time.
I already read a lot of the info on the wiki and I am reading through the forum, trying to decide if I want to invest or mine.

Hello. Is there a better way to vet users? I'm a newbie but have been reading these forums for over a year now. I finally have cause to post and contribute to the discussion but must play the newbie game first.

I'm Batman.
no you're not... I am. as well as the real slim shady, the 99%, and some other meme. ... also none of the above. I'm a retired engineer (whee! medical / disability retirement) and also posting in here to celebrate that I already posted 5 posts BEFORE hopping over to this thread. Some time in the next day (maybe sooner. possibly even by the time I finish writing this post) I'm hoping the newbie status will be lifted. Been an engineer / geek / network & server operator / software developer / beta tester / writer of reviews for random things / android-rooting, custom-distro-spinning, other geeky things on this list... ok I've lost interest in typing this. I'm very lazy. blah blah blah going back to bed I really hate intro threads & never know what to write. This is one of the few occasions I'll ramble on about nothing like this lol

Hey everyone. I'm pretty new to the Bitcoin scene. I'm just curious in finding a place where my money would sit better than rotting in paypal.

Hey guys, iJeax here. Looking to buy some BTC via PayPal. I know it will be tough, but once I make some buys and get trusted, it will be great!

Hi,
I am posting here just because I can't post in other forums. So now I have to post this crap before I can comment on anything meaningful I wanted and registered in for in the first place.
I am stopping wasting time with this post, now
