Wait, really?  We have a member from the United States?!

Gotta be a DEA plant.

"The powers of financial capitalism had another far-reaching aim, nothing less than to create a world system of financial control in private hands able to dominate the political system of each country and the economy of the world as a whole. This system was to be controlled in a feudalist fashion by the central banks of the world acting in concert, by secret agreements arrived at in frequent meetings and conferences. The apex of the systems was to be the Bank for International Settlements in Basel, Switzerland, a private bank owned and controlled by the world's central banks which were themselves private corporations. Each central bank...sought to dominate its government by its ability to control Treasury loans, to manipulate foreign exchanges, to influence the level of economic activity in the country, and to influence cooperative politicians by subsequent economic rewards in the business world."

Hello world.

I'm new here... well, to the forum, not to bitcoin.
My focus is currently litecoin, with the main reason being me mining with the CPU (I have no suitable GPU), and it being on the rise lately!

If you have any questions (you probably don't), just send me a message.

Yup.  But once you realize how good this community it is its only a drop in the bucket of what should be done to preserve it.

Hello, I'm a total Nebie to Bitcoins, but I'm very interested in it as an alternative currency and also the fact that it is relatively new.

Having said that there seems to be a lot of drama that has already happened. I'm sure to have a good few questions over the coming months, so please bear with me. (I'm still try to get my head round how this bitcoin mining works.)

Hello.  I was recently (about 2-3 weeks ago) introduced to Bitcoin by a friend.
I have no GPU suitable for BTC mining at the moment.  LTC mining is more profitable for me, especially with the current value of LTC in BTC.   Smiley
Slowly earning Bitcoins...

Nice to meet all of you!   Cheesy

I am the Lorax, I speak for the trees...

Opps, wrong character lol.

I just found this site while looking for DIY bitcoin miner rigs, expecting to hear the same old "Buy 4 ATI 7970s and CrossFire them..." line, but to my astonishment I found FPGA projects going on.  That stuff is amazing!  I'm looking for more info on it especially how I can buy some kits/units to start mining with.

Thanks!
