Hi my name is therustyrombone and I recently got into bitcoins and GPU mining. So far I have built a box-top ( ) BAMT dedicated miner with 4x 5850 with plans to get a Tech Tray and 2 more GPUs mounted cleanly. I literally just booted into BAMT and screwed up my ABCpool account trying to get BAMT to mine properly, so that's why I registered.

I first heard about bitcoins about 1 1/2 years ago and figured it was a scam. Boy do I wish I had looked into it further then. My current GPU would have mined profitably then, but no longer.
After mining for two days in slush's pool I have a whole 0.01 BTC. Ha ha - I'll try not to spend it all in one place!

Hi guys, i am a kind of new miner, got 2 dedicated rigs running (1 with my 2 old 6970's from the main rig, second one with 5970 + 5870). My main gaming pc with 2x 7970 and the pc for the house wich has a spare 5870 i found in the bedroom all in all, about 2 ghash 24/7 (the 2 rigs with bamt) and about 1300mhash from my rig who is currently mining all day long as long as the temp outside is <25 degrees celcius (its kinda hot with 7 gpus hashing away in a small bedroom) Mined total about 160 btc without the 2nd dedicated rig (bought the 5970 and 5870 from local computer marketplace) and now pointing some hashes to /cyuhct4]triplemining I think i get more reward there, as i am doing about 3% of the pool hashing hope you like that pool, small pools have less stale shares due to overload of servers, 0% fee's, and the pool has weekly jackpot from the people who are pool owners (pool owners pay 1% fee but people in the pool are free) hope you like me on the forums pictures of my rig? pm me

Hello all! I've been into Bitcoin since 1/10 when I first ran the bitcoin program on my computer. I had that puppy mining away getting all the bitcoins I could get. After awhile I got a new computer and put the computer I was using for mining away in a closet for a few years. I just retrived the wallet for that computer and I have a TON of bitcoins.
I currently trade on GLBSE and have a presence on Bitmit. You can contact me here or on there if you want.
Why so late getting an account here on the forum? I'm mostly a lurker. I don't talk much but when I do I talk your ear off!
I hope to make some friends on here and trade with you people.
Hope all is well.

This board apparently has a difficult to find reply button to keep out blind fools like myself.
I'm Damien, sort of new to bitcoin, although I've done some trades and a little mining. Coming out of the lurk mode.

Hi , I'm not here so much as active Bitcoin user. The main motivation is that you guys may meet some of spammers and fraudsters I have seen around. One of the topics on this board I found by looking in Google with following search line: 11400 W. Olympic Blvd. Suite 200 Los Angeles, CA fraud 2012 I found, among others, a posting here ( https://bitcointalk.org/index.php?topic=96774.0), referring to someone suspecting a scam operation being operated from that same address. That address seems to pop up on several Whois-searches when I checked some spam mail distributors and other suspicious companies. I have also found, that several companies mask the actual contact names in Whois-enquiries, supposedly for protecting them from harvesting addresses for spamming. They use a company WhoisGuard.com as an intermediate. Quite a "coincidence" that the address of that company "WhoisGuard.com" is -surprise- 11400 W. Olympic Blvd. Suite 200, Los Angeles, CA 90064 ! You guys here should be very aware of that particular fraudster. They seem to run all kinds of weird and likely illegal operations. Just look Google results for the same search I used! Also - I happen to live outside U.S. and it is rather difficult to initiate investigations or file complaints from afar, especially because I have personally managed (at least until now!) avoiding of being actually defrauded by them. Maybe somebody here has not been so lucky? If you have documented loss due to any of the "companies" residing in that address, please file an official complaint! I have found at least one official complaint-site: http://www.ic3.gov/faq/default.aspxI would love to see those guys put out of business and maybe even behind bars! -poohbear

Hello, I became interested in Bitcoin about a week ago. Few days ago I bought my first Bitcoin at #bitcoin-otc. Primarily I've registered to trade, but maybe I'll join some conversations. MegaBrutal
