Every time a block is mined, a certain amount of BTC (called the
subsidy) is created out of thin air and given to the miner. The
subsidy halves every four years and will reach 0 in about 130 years.

Hey all. Just wanted to say hi. I see some serious potential in bitcoins and I intend to be a part of this movement, just not sure how yet... Need to learn more to find my place, weather it be mining or opening some type of bitcoin business. So much potential in such a beautiful blossoming decentralized economy.  Need all the knowledge I can cram into my head and this seems like the perfect place to start! -Drew |

Yo, Yo, Yo...I am BigAmerica up in this peace representing the land of the free and dropping of price per BTC back down to something cival, umm....like 7-9USD per BTC. Shit, the first time I bought BTCs they were@ $8perBTC. WAT HAPPEND!

Hi all! I've actually been a member here since June 2011 (though not very active)...and I've posted before too...but now it's showing I'm 100% new  Ah well, time to start anew I suppose. Happy to get back into the community after my hiatus! |
