Hi all. I think its pretty obvious what my name is, (not that you had enough matt's as it was)

I have been interested in mining for a while, i dont mind if i dont make money so long as I break even as it. My main interest is not to get rich, more that I was hoping mining could be a cheaper way of acquiring bitcoins.

However, I have never been able to fully get into bitcoin mining as it doesnt take a genius to work out that the hardware costs, and the costs of power, and the costs of reliable internet makes it cheaper to buy bitcoins, rather then to mine for them.

But with these new asic machines! I can see the potential that this has to revolutionize the mining process. If I had a choice between an asic and a bfl, based on what I know I would take the BFL. They seem to be more noob friendly (although considering their is no product in existance yet, I guess its easy to make up whatever features you want)

Can anyone, anywhere vouch that BFL is not a scam? I am kicking myself for not taking an asic when I had the chance (I wanted to see if they were legit and delivered)

Is there any other hardware besides asic and BFL that is worth consideration?

Hi everybody.  I am from Taiwan.  I love the idea of bitcoin and think it has extreme potential.  I am trying to promote bitcoin in Taiwan and hope you can use bitcoin here when you visit Taiwan in the future.

Hello fellow bitcoiners,

I'm a small miner from june 2011 and sold my first bitcoin for 14$ made with old 5770. Since then managed to byu 3 5850's and mined some coins, but diff raise and one card broken after a while made my operation harder. Last winter had to sell coins for 2-3$ to pay for elektricity, and not feeling very lucky for beeing informed and clever to find out about bitcoins after all.

Asking you to donate some of your assets if you feel luckier than I am now, small amount is enough. Thanks in advance, no hard feelings if you're not feeling rich enough to donate Smiley

Proud owner of two sapphire 5850 oc'd to 950/300 ~750MH

plan: invest some btc to pyramining (already lost 2btc with deposit directly from mtgox to pyra, stupid!)

Live in the states but have family in Brasil.  Would love to find a way to send Btc to family instead of stupid money wire places.  Btc is probably the most awesome thing technologically speaking that I have ever seen.  Just glad to be here.
