Hi,

Started mining with 2 5850's on ubuntu yesterday.

3 more on the way.

Rule #1 rules: Use best judgment in all situations. There will be no additional rules.

Cheers

Hello...  I'm new to this whole bitcoin thing, but as a programmer, I'm interested in how I could build mining technology into my applications to "monetize" them.

Hello everyone, I'm almbfsek. I've first heard about Bitcoin when it was still equal to couple of dollars. Back then, I did some mining. I even got some free BTC from the Faucet then I simply forgot about everything and lost my wallet while upgrading my OS. Now, after many months, I'm too late on the Bitcoin bandwagon -as always-. With the regret of missing the possibility of being a rich man, I've registered here thinking about buying lots of GPUs and doing 7/24 mining but then I realized that with the current speed of difficulty increase, my gain wouldn't even cover the initial investment (am I wrong?). So here I am, just trying to contribute to the community because I still like the idea behind Bitcoins.

Cheers

This is my first time checking out what bitcoins are all about. I am an electronic and software engineer in the Northeast United States.

Thanks!

Hello all

Just started mining (bitcoin and namecoin pools) a few days ago, located in Northern Indiana, about 250-300 Mhash/s, playing with guiminer and was doing some namecoin solo mining on a 4850 to try and get lucky before the difficulty increase this morning, no such luck but I'll probably keep trying for a couple weeks and then go back to the pool my other card is a 5770 mostly in the namecoin pool with a bitcoin pool as a backup.

I'm a programmer and hope to contribute a few utilities to the bitcoin community in the future.
Perhaps even a small test apps in the next few days. You'll see the awesomeness that will be created soon.

Hey, i've been mining for a few weeks now (first couple of weeks was on an 8800GTS that only did about 30 mh/s) but only recently got a 5870 and started mining properly. Just recently decided to stop being a lurker Smiley even though I should really be writing my final year project proposal.

Hello.

Didn't that guy that invented the telephone invent the word hello?
I guess he thought it would be funny to get all of the very rich, very christian aristocrats saying "hell" every time the introduced themselves to each other.

I think hacking has always existed, in one form or another. Probably how the pyramids were made i bet.
UFOs hacking primitives for kicks....

hi all... i am no troll but seriously suspect the admins are trying to mimic real world banking elitism by placing so many hurdles in the way of leaving simple comments and making contributions .. i am asking repeatedly how to deregister from this site. i would never have joined if i realised they were this bad.. Please just allow me to deregister and make that function available to all who would rather leave....

thanks
