Hey.

Kinda new here, and to the bitcoin world. I'm still learning a lot.
I was going to ask some questions in the mining hardware section, but I see I am restricted to the newbie area at the moment...

I'm a Web Developer from New Orleans, LA now residing in rocky Denver, CO.

I've been keeping track of BTC for quite a while now, just never jumped into the fun (unfortunately). So, I'm a late comer to the true BTC fun, but plan on eventually making a splash in the community. I love doing creative development work and hopefully can contribute that somehow.

please do so! and get some posts Smiley
don't be so negative, the 50-post-rule is there for a reason: to get rid of the trolls. NOT to piss newcomers off.

relax take it easy and smile. Cheesy

Hi I'm Lee. I've seen a few stories on bitcoin recently and thought I would see what all the fuss is about.

Hi everyone,

I started my bitcoin adventure a month ago, been lucky enough to purchase a few coins via paypal at bitcoinmarket. I've shuffled them around nicely and made a small profit (of which 60% is frozen at Mt.Gox  Sad) . I also have a little mining rig, pulling 550mhs and partially heating the second story of my house  Cheesy . Geographically speaking i'm in Chile (South America) I mayored in CompSci and i'm considering to start building a bitcoin community out here. Would like to hear about some other Chilean bitcoiners, lets hear some  chi-chi-chi-le-le-le  s !!!

Nobody will read this anyway, but I'm here because watching the exchanges crash and burn is hilarious, and the sooner BTC goes back to novelty-trading for things like shell accounts or IRC bouncers the better.

Hi, I've been trading bitcoins and following the forum for about three weeks now, and finally joined up, so I thought I'd get my feet wet here. I use ... well, used MtGox  Angry  and now Trade Hill to trade, and Dwolla. Getting the hang of things and enjoying being part of this amazing process of "creating" the BitCoin economy. Should be good.

Hello. Found out about BTC @ 25 cents from a fellow libertarian friend. He encouraged me to buy into gold. He got in (with one ounce!) @ $1200 I think, but BTC sounded speculative. I have been lurking around watching all these crazy events from the sidelines. I just wanted to pop in for discussion and be apart of the community. Cryptocurrency is the future, until D-Wave's quantum computer gets out... then Quantum-Cryptocurrency is the future. At least that is according to my limited understanding.

Anyhow, hello, BTC world =)
