I have 6x Asus 470 8gb micron , moded the bios and put 1625 strap and then clocked ddr to 1950 and gpu to 1140 , up the TDP 25% and they make 27mgh. The problem is that if i put a monitor to any card wich is 1950 and hashing for hours with no problem and no errors in Hwinfo and stop the miner the pc crashes! I thought that one card is poor , but changing others and put the monitor to them they start to do the same, is there a way to fix this! And don't believe that they burn 100watt, 6 cards burn 1200watt dualmining and 1000w only eth! It is very disappointing !

You can get a bit under 1000w dualmining 6gpu if you undervolt enough

At least 24-48h mining to see if it's stable.. an hour test will give you a hint of stability but has occasionally not been enough

Hi, i think the 1625 strap is clear, i must copy the dato to the other up fields. but clock ddr to 1950 is not clear for me, what i have to do, which field do you men? and up the TDP by 25% is the TDP 85 plus 25% = new number for TDP 126, right? and a other question, where can i underclock to reduce the power at wall, some peaple speak from 28-30 mh/s with under 100 watt... Regards Willi

You have to install msi afterburner and manipulate clocks and voltage there , not in the Polaris editor!

Using btc pro and celeron and 2 psu corsair cx750 ! Anyone can help with the problem after stoping the miner?

Perfect! Did i need a special version of MSI Afterburner or onle the newest one from the MSI page? https://de.msi.com/page/afterburner

It is perfect! You are lucky with your micron cards! Mine don`t want to undervolt that much! Is this dual mining or only eth?

Hello To all, I have a question regarding the hashrate of the card Asus Radeon STRIX-RX470-O4G-GAMING 4Gb mining monero . I use Claymore and my max H/s is 540 actually but when I look at Benchmarks on http://monerobechmarks.byethost5.com/ I see that most of the people are getting up to 740H/s on monero with similar card. I did make a lot of research on google and several sites but no way to get more details about how to get this H/s . In the past I did mine dogecoin with radeon card and I remember that it was possible to use different settings in the bat file that could serioulsy raise the H/s . But I have no idea how to do that with Claymore and I did not find any example settings to try. Could any one help me out ? Thank you leole

When the AMD 500 series came out, I bought up a number of 470 8g cards in desperation. Most of my experience has been with Sapphire nitro+ rx 470 8g cards, and in my haste I bought a number of Sapphire nitro rx 470 8g {not the + version} and so far I have come to the conclusion that they suck ass. I can't seem to mod the bios without them not responding, and almost any moves I make with voltages makes them unstable. I have read this whole forum and saw that others have had these same issues, but I didn't find any clear success stories either. There was a lot of talk mid to late last year about these cards, so I am hoping someone has figured out a way to get these cards up to 27-28 MH/s with a wattage lower than what I am getting at 24 MH/s. Any real life solutions are appreciated. I simply want them stable and using less power at an average hash rate. I am not looking for miracles, but perhaps a bit of hope would be nice. I have spent hours and hours trying to get these cards to a better level of performance to no avail. I appreciate any consideration.

I did follow the instruction on this site http://cryptoyeti.com/rx470-bios-mod/ . Very easy but the problem is that when done the original drivers do no longer detect the card So I can not use it anymore and need to load back original drivers.

How many do you have? 18, and I still can't seem to get a good set up for them. The most I can get is 24 mh/s per card with 6 cards pulling 1000W, but I really want 27-28 mh/s like the nitro+ cards if possible. Any thoughts?
