I would like to be whitelisted for Bitcoin Forum > Bitcoin > Development & Technical Discussion please. I am working on making a version of the open source FPGA miner for a multi-FPGA S6 LX150 board (not ZTEX) that was "given" to me during an alien abduction episode. I had to have it surgically removed from a nether orifice. Once cleaned off, it appears to function quite normally.
As a atarting point, I am trying to build the ZTEX project under ISE 14.1 and I am having difficulty making the LX150 Bitfile for the 4 FPGA version of ztex_ufm1_15y1. I am using ISE Project Navigator 14.1 configured as follows: SET AS TOP MODULE: ztex_ufm1_15y1 (ztex_ufm1_15y1.v) INCLUDED UCF FILE: ztex_ufm1_15y1.ucf TARGET DEVICE: xc6slx150-3csg484
The problems are:
(1) I would like to get some recommended part numbers for low profile heatsinks, I notice that Digi-key does not carry Radian. My current engine looks like it will consume 9W per FPGA.
(2) Route:441 - The router has detected a very high timing score (7681590) for this design. It is extremely unlikely the router will be able to meet your timing requirements. To prevent excessive run time the router will change strategy. The router will now work to completely route this design but not to improve timing. This behavior will allow you to use the Static Timing Report and FPGA Editor to isolate the paths with timing problems. The cause of this behavior is either overly difficult constraints, or issues with the implementation or synthesis of logic in the critical timing path. If you would prefer the router continue trying to meet timing and you are willing to accept a long run time set the option "-xe c" to override the present behavior.
(Router eventually gives up)
Dr. Z has assured me that the .ucf file is up-to-date, but cannot offer any guidance on bitfile build procedure for ZTEX.

I would like to ask about buying bitcoin vs mining, in my particular case.
But I don't mind waiting a few hours.
|
My anger against what is wrong in the Bitcoin community is productive: Bitcointa.lk - Replace "Bitcointalk.org" with "Bitcointa.lk" in this url to see how this page looks like on a proper forum (Announcement Thread)Hashfast.org - Wiki for screwed customers

I'd like to be whitelisted, I need to report cgminer 2.6.4 experiences on the support thread. I would also like to report usage when using onboard GPU card as display and PCIe card as miner.

Hello,
I've been trading bitcoins on bitcoinmarket, mtgox and bitcoin-24 for the last 6-7 months. I've been also following your forum even if I was not a member. I'd like to get in touch with hashking or other Pirate Pass Through offerers to see whether to make investments with them. I know it's possible to do the same thing using glbse, but I think it would be better for me to make an investment directly with them. If this motivation are enough, please whitelist me.
Best regards johnwhitestar
Just PM them. I'd like to be whitelisted, I need to report cgminer 2.6.4 experiences on the support thread. I would also like to report usage when using onboard GPU card as display and PCIe card as miner.
You're already a Jr. Whitelisted. Proposal moved to Dev board.

Hey,
I'd like to be whitelisted as well. I'm Meddol, and have been lurking for a long time but never actually made an account, and since I'd like to contribute to the community with projects and general chit-chat, I decided to register.
Thanks!

Well, well, well... I was right, nobody has whitelisted me yet. All I want to do is post to this thread here: https://bitcointalk.org/index.php?topic=89685.0I've ordered 3 Jalapeno SC's. I know enough about bitcoins, or else I wouldn't have dropped $450 into it. Odd thing is, using the search terms "wait list bfl sc" will not find this thread.... it finds the wait list for another line of BFL products. This is the second website this week for which I've found bugs in the search parameters / results. It's not a coincidence either; the whole internet is infested with webmasters that can't properly code. Now, please, can I be whitelisted so I can contribute my share of the waiting experience for my new hardware to arrive? Thanks. p.s. I can only find that thread using Google's search or if I'm lucky to find the link in the forums while digging around. Please fix the search!
