Unlike traditional banking where clients have only a few account numbers, with Bitcoin people can create an unlimited number of accounts (addresses). This can be used to easily track payments, and it improves anonymity.

Whitelist please.

I have been solo mining on and off for past few months. Recently switched to pooled mining on a 7970. Signed up for the forum because I recently placed a preorder for a Single SC and ordered a Single fpga to hold me over (hey, full value trade in so only out the shipping Smiley

I am here to share my vast investment wisdom with the community.

I landed in this country with $2.50 in cash and $1 million in hopes, and those hopes never left me.

Hi my handle is the425. I am interesting in bitcoin for a variety of reasons. I want to try purchasing a gpu daisychain to mine btc. I am interested in Mt. Gox, Dwolla, how they operate, and is your money same with the, I also am interested in seeing if there is much interest in finding, (I know easier said than done) a better way people to be able to purchase BTC outside of MT Gox, as well as liscussing what can be done to prevent hackers from stealing btc from these fly by night exchanges (such as Bit Floor) in a long term effort to creative a less volatile decentralized p2p currency.

Hi,
I just signed up again, as I forgot my former user name.
It would be great to get "whitelisted", as I don't want to spam around in the Newbie area...

Currently I m interested in second hand BTFL singles, thats why I want to post in the marketplace...

Thx !

Hello there.

Long time lurker, finally created an account after about 2 months. I am not a spammer.

I am a moderator over at psxhaven.com, although I can get my jimmies in a rustle at times, I am mostly calm.

I wish to be whitelisted so I can explore the rest of the forums.

Thanks.

Like many here I've been a lurking behind the scenes - although I have registered & verified on bitcoin-otc.
I'm a developer (mobile & serverside) and starting to do more work on BTC backends - so having full forum access would make life significantly simpler.

On the side I've been playing with mining with a few machines - mostly GPU for BTC, cpu for LTC with a separate setup for dev coins.
I'm quite interested in the whole devcoin side to things and how it can be used to foster a larger, more collaborative community.

I'd like to explore, at some point in the near future, ideas for using the bitcoin network for things like voting (outside of the feature/flag voting currently done for BIP's).

Any questions - feel free to drop me a line.

Longtime lurker, finally started using my account to start with a watchlist here. I'm on this site daily, read a lot about bitcoins along the way. Shame I didn't try harder to get me some back in 2009, heared that story before as well! Oh well... Whitelist if possible please.

I want out of here. Non-newbie cred: I posted a couple of times in Reddit explaining in layman's terms how the blockchain works:

Long time listener, first time caller. Been lurking here for many moons. I would be perfectly fine with the five post minimum, however as long as I've been lurking and as familiar as I am w/this forum and w/bitcoin I'm certain that there is nothing substantive I could contribute in the noob forum and that spamming five posts for the sole reason of spamming five posts would not do anybody any good, so perhaps I might be whitelisted?
