Newbie restrictions idea seems pointless to me. Reporters of BlockChain newly introduced bugs ended up discussing them in the newbie section instead of the appropriate dedicated thread.

I understand the reason of restrictions but its weird for me. I guess its works against troll but also its permission for spamming a little.

I would suggest "zero-trolling-tolerance" period as a newbie restriction instead - makes more sense to me.

I agree with this and I also fully understand the reason for the newbie restriction. It really is not that much of a deal for the average user, but for the guys running the forum it would take way more time and resources to clean up the trolls.

it's not only blackchain related bugs, there are many other related projects in the project development section a causal user can't post.

how is online hours measured?
Real time hours, except it stops counting after ~10min of inactivity.

Real time hours, except it stops counting after ~10min of inactivity. I am sure a real troll can easily find script to click a forum link every 10 minutes. the honest newbies wanting to contribute or asking questions are left in the cold. kind of silly.

of stifling decent discussion. You'll just end up with obsessives. Irony noted

Unbelievable, make sure not to post frequently or your main account will be put on spam hold!

First time I've seen a forum where newbies have to post in order to get out of the sandbox.
I've already forgotten the thread I signed up to post in ;(
seems a little counter-intuitive doesn't it

This is a good idea, to filter out scammers and trolls. THanks for trying to keep the community afloat.
