Wow, do you have any pics of your farm?  That would be cool to see.

I prefer stay anonymous. Pictures have some artifacts that can compromise me.

So I made 5 posts and waited overnight and I am still on the restrictions.  Here's hoping this post unlocks me!

You have enough posts, but your online time is insufficient.

Up at the top what does it say for:

Quote
Total time logged in: X days, Y hours and Z minutes.

Ah, my mistake.  I misinterpreted that condition as meaning the account only needed to be 4 hours old.
Thank you.

I can see this posting & logged in may prevent spam efficiently. Other would be neural network filtering. If first post fills scam criteria your account is automatically just banned & ip blocked. I used that method few years ago in feedback department and spammers were very annoyed.

I have 4 hours and 9 posts, why can't I post anywhere else?

And I swear I have been reading this forum all day, that was the longest four hours I've ever spent!

EDIT: Okay, now I can post other places. Is the time actually 4 hours 15 minutes instead of 4 hours?

This thread answered my question about how long it will take for me to no longer be a newbie. Maybe that information should be put in the rules?

well its pretty irritating that you can only post here, and for my part in Scandinavia part.. like if you realy need to buy some bitcoins and need to post alot of messages to say that you want it is pretty annoying.. but well maybe its better so spammers and trolls get here?

Go ahead and ask your question here (not in this thread, but in this forum), and someone will likely answer it.

Restrictions such as this are a good idea; they are clearly spelled out in the first post.

I already like these rules. it forces me to browse around for a few hours instead of diving ride in to the sharks. I've already learned a few new things from some threads I probably would have bypassed otherwise.

Now that I'm forced to lurk and read threads, I should have a good understanding of everything within a few hours.

Not really.  You can promote a bitcoin related or accepting business if you like, just try not be become obnoxious about it.  A link in your signature is an accepted method, but a banner in your signature just annoys people.

"The powers of financial capitalism had another far-reaching aim, nothing less than to create a world system of financial control in private hands able to dominate the political system of each country and the economy of the world as a whole. This system was to be controlled in a feudalist fashion by the central banks of the world acting in concert, by secret agreements arrived at in frequent meetings and conferences. The apex of the systems was to be the Bank for International Settlements in Basel, Switzerland, a private bank owned and controlled by the world's central banks which were themselves private corporations. Each central bank...sought to dominate its government by its ability to control Treasury loans, to manipulate foreign exchanges, to influence the level of economic activity in the country, and to influence cooperative politicians by subsequent economic rewards in the business world."

Same here! Looks like the restrictions don't count for Local subforums?!?
