Looking forward to "seeing you" (-;    the website will be your help/resource area. As a community we sort of left the girls "hanging" and figured this is the best way to re-coup the bitcoin communities reputation.

Whitelist request!

I've been mining since April 2011, currently mining @ eligius.st with 3x5850 and 1x6870 in two boxes, both running BAMT from USB.

I only have two replies on this board so far, but one of them (https://bitcointalk.org/index.php?topic=6458.msg109652#msg109652) was a informational post helping people to get the dependencies for Phoenix on Ubuntu last May...

I have some really nice supermicro cases (3x Redundant 1000W power supplies, SAS/SATA backplanes, 4U tower, almost new) and some 4x PCIe and 4xOpteron mobos I want to list in the marketplace, so that's my immediate motivation, but I'm a long-time reader and plan to be into the future.

Thanks!

E

Not a bad way to start. This doesn't require much effort for the new users to begin there journey.

You could, actually, if you wanted to become a donator to the site.  But tell me how you figure newbies are going to get some bitcoins to donate, if they can't post to the site first?

"The powers of financial capitalism had another far-reaching aim, nothing less than to create a world system of financial control in private hands able to dominate the political system of each country and the economy of the world as a whole. This system was to be controlled in a feudalist fashion by the central banks of the world acting in concert, by secret agreements arrived at in frequent meetings and conferences. The apex of the systems was to be the Bank for International Settlements in Basel, Switzerland, a private bank owned and controlled by the world's central banks which were themselves private corporations. Each central bank...sought to dominate its government by its ability to control Treasury loans, to manipulate foreign exchanges, to influence the level of economic activity in the country, and to influence cooperative politicians by subsequent economic rewards in the business world."

- Carroll Quigley, CFR member, mentor to Bill Clinton, from 'Tragedy And Hope'

This statement says quite a bit. The fact that you think that people new to posting on this forum can't have bitcoins is absurd.

Haha this make sense, although it does kind of stink since I would like to PM a member here, but I suppose as a new member, rather not get trolled randomly.

Kinda just wanted to buy some btc off a fellow Canadian member but I understand that trolling is probably quite prevalent.

I understand why you do this, but this kinda sucks for someone like me who tends to lurk forever before registering, and doesn't bother registering until I have something worthwhile to add.
