Transactions must be included in a block to be properly completed. When you send a transaction, it is broadcast to miners. Miners can then optionally include it in their next blocks. Miners will be more inclined to include your transaction if it has a higher transaction fee.

Wow that is far hotter than my batch 1 which is overclocked to 9.3T at similar room temperatures. (61/88) (66/89)

I noticed on mine there is a batch 1 serial number sticker underneath the current 8.0T sticker. Running solid at 8th/s, .0001% HW

I purchased some of these to replace my s7 space heaters but not sure they will do the job of keeping the house warm

Does this thing take some time to show hasrate? Mine just sits there doing nothing though I've already changed password and setup my pools identically as my S7.  I do see one strange thing, for Hardware Version under the system tab it says "Socket connect failed: Connection refused" which is a strange thing for a hardware version number, no?

I'll bet I got a brick here and I'm gonna get real pissed off in a bit...

-edit... uh,  nevermind, it does take a few minutes to get running.  Roll Eyes

--double edit... This thing is GREAT!  Compared to my fan modded, UC S7 this thing is basically silent, like a small desk fan on medium. Getting 8.1TH atm, well see how it runs over time.

These aren't the Droids you're looking for: S5 & S7 (Sold), R4B2, R4B4 (RIP), 2x S9 obsolete, 2xS15-28, S17-56, S17-70
Pushing a whopping 1/5 PH!  Oh The SPEED!!!

When can we expect some sort of  FW update for these? I still see nothing on the sight for the R4 and the S9's have gone through to many FW revisions to count

Can someone running R4-B2 comment on its noise? Mine is delayed by UPS so hopefully it will come in tmr.

don't have one, but Phil already posted pics with 62dB reading, which is much quieter than S7/S9, but not silent.
62db is closer to where S3 was.

Thank you. If it's comparable to S3, then I will be happy.

Are they still accepting payment via wire transfer. I placed my order on the 2nd of Dec paid via bank transfer. My order was expired after 3 days after contacting them I got replied that they don't accept wire transfer anymore. Has anybody got the same problem? Or has anybody got refunded after paying via wire transfer.

Thanks

I asked about the possibility to revert the batch 2 R4 to be just like the batch 1 R4.
I got this answer:
Code:
Dear customer,

The batch 2 differs from batch 1. They have different hardware. The batch 2 can not be converted to first batch by upgrading firmware.
The design of auto-tune settings is for better operation stability.

Thanks for your understanding.

Has anyone tried to see the bmminer config via SSH?
Is there any possibility to write different values for fan control or frequencies?

edit: this is how the bmminer.conf looks like with my non-autotune S9

Ouch, UPS just stung me for over $300 in taxes, duty and "handling charges"   Roll Eyes

Now I remember why I don't buy miners in the UK anymore. Lucky I have free electric for this or I wouldn't bother.  Cry

That's exactly why I haven't bought a new miner from outside the EU. Ridiculous charges from government, then the handling charges on top of that aswell  Roll Eyes

I paid £379.31 to FeDex for import charge (two units) - 20% as expected.

Anyone that purchased multiple units seeing a large range of chip temps by unit?

One of my units is showing 105/79 and 93/103.  The other that is sitting right next to it, with same airflow and ambient temps showing 70/70 and 55/75.  Doesn't make sense.  Do you think the lower temperature unit is reading the temps incorrectly by chance?  The other 2 R4 batch 1 unit chip temps I have in the room are all about 88c~

Ja temps on the auto tune miners will vary a lot from miner to miner. Part of what auto-tune seems to do is look at hashrate vs temp and use that data as part of the Majik Sauce of speed, temp, and Vcore used to produce as-advertised total hashrate. That process lets them be less picky about what params are best for any particular group of chips from the Foundry and that in turn gives them a lot more usable chips. -- If any individual hashboard(s) under-performs they make sure a better one is in the same miner to give advertised speed.

I agree with this, I've got one board in my R4 b2 that's 105 deg. C but is the slower (555 M avg) of the 2 and also the one putting out 215 HW errors vs. the other at 91 deg. C that's only got 16 HW errors at 559 M (avg).
