In case you missed the big news recently. The much anticipated Byteball App is now available in the Apple App Store! Download it now!

https://itunes.apple.com/us/app/byteball/id1147137332?ls=1&mt=8

Eventually, @tonych and Byteball team have brought Byteball to Apple App Store.
it's time to enjoy new ecosystem of Byteball and wait to see how fast the new ecosystem can grow in the next few months till the end of 2018.

I am glad Byteball continues its great efforts in building and trying hard making it towards becoming mainstream. I can still remember when this was a solid top 50 when crypto is still in lower capitalization.

According to NIST and ECRYPT II, the cryptographic algorithms used in Bitcoin are expected to be strong until at least 2030. (After that, it will not be too difficult to transition to different algorithms.)

Wow, great work!!!

Talking about mass adoption, hear me out here.... How about KaiOS: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=OA_g2bQgOXY?

It is already the 2nd biggest mobile OS in India, and growing exponentially in the developing world.

Not something to do without thinking hard about the usecases to put out there, and a way to do marketing.... But anyway an interesting OS to reach a market that could really benefit from crypto technology!

What is going on in recent days with most alts, I already thought that this is the biggest bottom and lower the price will not fall, but apparently the bottom is not yet near

The newcomers has left with their losses after the crypto crash (expected). The seasoned traders have left because the alt markets are dangerously illiquid, preventing large exchanges to and from BTC, and BTC volatility has come back a bit with an assumption of recovery.

people have gotten too comfortable with valuations that still make zero sense even after 90%+ falls. i scroll down coinmarketcap shaking my head.

It'll take years before details take the place of hype when people weigh up whether to try a project.

Byteball had a little brush of hype. Now it's gone. If and when it does return there'll be a hell of a lot of cool stuff to justify it.

Said it before but I'll say it again, distribution should've been put to bed aeons ago.

This so far has been an object lesson in how to remove your momentum. Sometimes you can never get it back.

really?

lets see.

virtually all non mined fully distributed altcoins have massive problems because newcomers arent attracted by bear markets.

but they cant disitribute coins to newcomers easily because there is no distribution pool. its finished. gone. forever. not coming back. ever

newcomers dont want to buy in bear markets

byteball distributed coins to nearly 56,000 and rising Steem usernames since July 12. all least 50% of all funds locked by 1 year contract. the % of locked funds will be higher in the future as people have shown this is not a deterent

the nano distribution facuet on their website was a disaster in terms of getting coins into as many hands as possible. look at them now. what can they do? they cant grow users because mass market dont want to buy. they have resorted to making shit up about how they are saving lives in Venezuela by nano donations. Guess what? If you are in danger of dying of hunger USD is a lot more useful than crypto. USD holds its price over the short and medium term and crypto is crazy volatile.

undistributed coins are clearly MASSIVE advantage byteball has

byteball has an opportunity to hugely grow the userbase in this bear market that other cryptos do not have, because people have to buy en masse which they do not want to do

I am glad Tony has the sense not to listen to people saying otherwise

It shouldnt matter but it does.

Is there any moves happening from devs on decentralisation of the network?
They can't do anything about it. Enough time has passed, to make sure that reputable users with real-world identities not ready to stake reputation on this ponzi scheme

more FUD from a newbie account. 50% of witnesses aim to be decentralized by January 2019. This was stated on the Byteball Medium recently. I expect 1 or 2 by the end of the summer. Valerious, Head of Strategy is in charge of getting this done. Conversations are ongoing currently with I think around 6 witness candidates

If by the  end of the summer there is a price of 1K or 2K it will be amazing by today's standards in the market. With such a market as now, I have forgotten what the growth of cryptocurrencies is.

Fuders mostly hide their identities using newbie accounts and that has happened a few years back. Their goal is only to destroy and will try to drop the price to the worst.

Reserving ~110,433 GB for the Foundation still leaves about 22% of the total supply on the table. To make sure that we won’t sit back and enjoy our monthly dose of GBYTE turned into USD or EUR we also want to reserve 50% of the total 36 month payroll budget for a long term Motivation Plan for team members and advisors.

anyone can see the new distribution methods are better than dropping to btc and gbyte holders which stopped working last summer

if you dont like it go join a shitcoin forked btc code lambo project

Byteball is really interesting project.

I wonder how some shitcoins have more value ?

Probably because of the shilling and promoting,
it is also important for coins.

a lot of shitcoins raised ICO money and buy fake news in crypto media, which happens all the time

much of that stuff on Coindesk etc is fake journalism paid for under the table by ico shitcoins

Its annoying for genuine projects like Byteball but cream will evetnually rise

This is an interesting article, but has the plan been finalized. I am unable to see whether this is a proposal or is the new plan to make use of the undistributed funds. In any case, those who have invested in Byteball have burnt their fingers badly. Hope something turns in their favour in the future.
