Byteball is really interesting project.
I wonder how some shitcoins have more value ?
Probably because of the shilling and promoting, it is also important for coins.
a lot of shitcoins raised ICO money and buy fake news in crypto media, which happens all the time much of that stuff on Coindesk etc is fake journalism paid for under the table by ico shitcoins Its annoying for genuine projects like Byteball but cream will evetnually rise

team received 110k Gbyte, can we expect transparency? What is the address? How much was sold, at what price?
untrue FUD from a newbie account on bitcointalk https://medium.com/byteball/the-future-of-byteball-the-byteball-foundation-cca9d495bf46Reserving ~110,433 GB for the Foundation still leaves about 22% of the total supply on the table. To make sure that we won’t sit back and enjoy our monthly dose of GBYTE turned into USD or EUR we also want to reserve 50% of the total 36 month payroll budget for a long term Motivation Plan for team members and advisors. This is an interesting article, but has the plan been finalized. I am unable to see whether this is a proposal or is the new plan to make use of the undistributed funds. In any case, those who have invested in Byteball have burnt their fingers badly. Hope something turns in their favour in the future.

i dont like fud its just my opinion. there is absolut no demand for BB and no volume. we respect tony he created it and it seems he killed it(airdrop canceled and much more importend no ambition to decentralize) . sure it can pump 100% frome a whale tomorrow but will that change something? i never thought such a solid project can go to zero. r.i.p. until it rises again which is doubtful

the simplest calculations show that $3500 is enough for DDOS during the month. 30 tps x 86400 sec x 500 bytes fees x 30 days x $90 GB. any CEO of competing coins will close Byteball for a year paying only 6 btc . Do i need to create a pool to kill this coin? Is there margin trading for this coin?

I bought a new computer and installed Byteball software and restored my wallet by using my wallet seed. I had a wallet already on my old computer. After seed import and required wallet restart I received an error message: Uncaught exception: Error: message encrypted to unknown key, device 0<snip>R, len=228. The error might be caused by restoring from an old backup or using the same keys on another device. Then the wallet quits. What does the message mean exactly? I understand the meaning but not what I need to do to restore and use my wallet.

Got the news on recently big achievements of the World Community Grid Byteball. I joined the community today and hope that I will get amazing news, and other things there. Thank you, meterse. This World Community Grid project is really awesome : the concept of contributing to research with almost no investment of time or money is something the crypto community should should embrace with greater convinction to show "non-crypto" people we are on the right track and to make them feel uncomfortable not to be on the same track we are walking on. Good job to byteball team with supporting this project.

I understand the meaning but not what I need to do to restore and use my wallet. This is normal after restoring from seed or an old backup. Close the wallet and restart. Never open the wallet on the old computer, or you get "message encrypted to unknown key" again.
