SatoNatomato reminded me to check my Byteball notebook and I saw this:

It's unpredictable since all the bytes could be distributed at next airdrop if enough BTC are linked.

Why does the bot asks me to do a micro payment if I already signed a address? Also, anyway to cancel one redeem process and start another one for a diffrent btc address?
You can link more than 1 BTC address.
Just paste the BTC address, and then follow instructions
...
Thanks, in the end I did the micro payment, but my question was about the fact that in the beginning of the process I had two options: do a  micropayment or sign a bitcoin address. I signed the address and then I got the message that I need to do the micropayment (so what is the point of signing the BTC address?
Did you transfer the signature via copy / paste? Have you really only the signature transferred (copy / paste)? If I remember correctly, the bot responds with the repetition of the prompt, if one enters any nonsense. If you enter a wrong signature, then he points this to you. I assume the bot does not recognize your input as a signature.

Some outputs look like this:
Signing address
----------------------
message to be signed
----------------------
Signed message

Copy / paste and send only the bold part of output.
Anyway, there are also tutorials:

hi

I sell my BB-->28gbb to 1.4 gb

in more i want borrowed gb for next round..for all 0.2gb and 0.4gbb i receive each round i will give 0.02 new gb and 0.04 gbb of my balance until end of distrib(minimum than i borrow 10gb)..if someone are interested pm me for more détails.

edit: above to 100gb borrowed i give 0.05 gb for all 0.2gb i receive and 0.1gbb..0.1gb and 0.2gbb above 500gb each round for just one round of borrow.

i'm serious isnt scam or joking.

why would i lend to you? you get 0.2gb for each 1gb linked. then you give me 0.02gb for each 1gb i lend you. why dont i keep my 1gb and keep 0.2gb. you trying to take advantage of people.

This isn't an donation its lending.. yu are paid for this service..yu will made a profit at each round for only one borrow round.

if you make a tonne of gb in lend then sell it all you give them 0.05 and have no gb for further rounds. if you get no more you owe no more. sounds scammy. id rather hold my own and get 0.2 each round compounded. you're making it sound good but its not.

it's precisely the opposite..i not interest of sell my part if i want participat at other round..in more i accept escrow so i will just receive my part and paid interest for each round at lenders.

its still a shitty deal. your aim is to borrow and make more than you return. lending. results in more being returned to lender. your aim is to get more gb than you give back else its not beneficial to you. giving more back is negative and nobody would do that. if you think otherwise show maths for 3 rounds with what you borrow and what they get back as opposed to them just holding.

i discourage others from lending. they will earn more by holding and getting the bonus themselves rather than lend to you.

you have 28gbb so likely have 8-12gb. anyone with large sums > 100gb would be insane to take yYU r deal.

It IS LENDING..WHAT DO YU NOT UNDERSTAND !? Are yu sure to recover yu re money after end rounds !? If not yu lost all.. I guarantee an rent until end rounds.. So that the lenders has no obligation to keep her balance if price dip.

Hi,

I searched on the topic and didn't find an answer...

I have linked BTC to BYTEBALL airdrop by using the chat bot avec sending SIGNED message. The airdrop is in 7 days.
So I have to keep my BTC on the specific address during all the time ? or just at July 9, 2017 at 04:07 UTC ?

There is a snapshot taken at around that time, but if you move your BTC around, be careful of change addresses.
Basically when you send your money, it will all be mixed into another address, so make sure that the same address still has the BTC, or link the new change address to the byteball bot (you can link more than one BTC address)

The amount present in the linked btc-address(es) by the exact time of airdrop is what will matter. But to be safe, I would suggest to keep the amount in the linked address for 24hrs just to avoid complications.

Proud to have worn the byteball signature before.

Thanks for your replies.
So the "510,000BTC linked" is not true because a lot of bitcoin can move before the snapachot ? And if they are linked again after a move that will double the amount officially linked.

They are real - next Fri / Sat / Su-night you will see clearly more BTC there.
Even during the strong BTC loss, only ~ 10% were temporarily withdrawn.
90% of the linked BTCs have owner with first-class Hold qualities.  Smiley

I can't figure out how to link my addresses....

After I message transition bot with my Byteball address, it tells me to either send a microtransaction or a btc address.... When I send my BTC address nothing happens.

Transition bot doesn't respond to anything else other than my Byteball address either.
Any help? PM if you know what I should do. Thanks.

No longer active on bitcointalk, however, you can still reach me via PMs if needed.

You have to prove ownership of the BTC address by signing your Byteball address with your BTC key - see here https://byteroll.com/airdrop

i assume he means the bot isn't offering up the message to sign.

if he hasn't got any byteball yet maybe it's worth deleting and reinstalling the wallet or perhaps checking the cut and paste in case there are some spaces in there or something.

Byteball's distribution model could be a great topic for a game theory study.

So I'm looking at rewards for this next distribution can you guys check my math here?

I put 5 BTC in byteball wallet, that should generate:

5 x .0625 GB which is 0.0625 X 10^9 bytes?

so i would be airdropped 0.3125 GB or 312,500,000 bytes
Correct.

Quote
but if i convert the BTC into bytes and put bytes in my wallet i get double the bonus
Correct.

Quote
312,500,000 X 2 bytes or,

625,000,000 bytes?
Wrong!

You can buy about 15 GBYTE for 5 BTC now. That would get you 20% airdorp, so 3 GBYTE extra. After the airdrop you'll have 18 GBYTE and 0 BTC.
Right after the airdrop the price drops a bit again, last month just over 20%. A few weeks later (now) it's up again. It's a gamble, you can do it, you can profit from it, but there's a chance to lose too.

Quote
Do i get even more for filling my wallet with blackbytes?
No. Read the OP again how it works Smiley

Thank you Loyce, that and the other guy's explanation made it clear to me. I've been watching byteball for a while and think I may just split it. Buy 2.5 BTC worth of Byteball and just link the rest of my BTC.

How I can Sync my Wallet faster  ?

Is there a benefit to running a full node rather than the lite client? Just linked my BTC  today and downloaded the lite client, so no need for me to sync.

How I can change my wallet from full node to lite client ? Were I can learn more about benefits and differences from full node and lite client?

Thanks.
