Ive heard of teens being killed on the spot for possessing small amounts of marijuana. I know a guy who claims his cousin was killed for being falsely accused of using marijuana. That all seems kind of extreme if the end goal is to root out the dangerous externalities of drug economies.

The drug problem is plaguing many countries in the world. I think it is difficult to do without drugs. Because there is a lot of profit, someone is taking the risk!

I think he can do it. One is not enough in everything activities. Two is better than one. They can do more than one can do. Three and ten and hundreds and thousands and multitudes can do more than one two can do. This is possible if every government officials will help the project and develop the good development for the citizens family and country.

If there are teenagers who has it with bullet  during the raid, I think its an unfortunate event. s possile the authorities wants to minimie the casualty. We cant afford more innocents as collateral damage.

I agree with you.. He is really a man with authority cannot be paid, cannot be bribed, he walks the talk. The Filipino people should help and cooperate to achieve a drug free nation.. Kudos to the Philippine President.

Can the president of the Philippines can do it. Well I like what his doing in his campaign. It is very amazing program and very work program in the country. Many were discipline now because of him.

No, the president cannot make the Philippines drug free at all but the people surrounding him with powers and position can help to fight drugs. With unity and discipline of all who implemented the rules, I can say that illegal drugs can be lessen if not totally eliminated.  As concerned citizen of the Philippines, I also salute my president for his position and power in fighting drugs. Despite of all the controversy and issue strike to him, I still believe that he is the best president of the Philippines not only in fighting drugs but to help my country a better/safe place to live in.

I really think it's a bit impossible to achieve because it is organized by big and influential people. Crime groups move silently and sometimes are protected by politicians. That is why it's really difficult to end drugs.

Yes he can do drug free in the philippines in the long run maybe 5 to 10years. It is not easy to wipe out totally drugs. Killing people is not the answer to make this happen. Better to make another option to solve this problem but not killing others.

I agree. Killing is not the answer, but the situation now in Philippines that many people still don't stop using drugs and still sell drugs ,they are hard to control doing bad thing. At first they know that their doing wrong but they still do use drugs. They are hard to discipline so i gues the deserve to kill.

Drug sale will move completely into darkweb (TOR), but Duterte himself and whole Philippines' govt will be discredited so country can fall into civil war! Is it worth it?!

I am from the Philippines and salute the Presidents effort on his war on drugs though i dont like the method on how officers carries out their missions. But being a drug free country is far away from reality. As long as there are greedy people who profits from drugs then there is no way we can be free from drugs.

Being a drug free country is the best achievement of any leader. In the philippines, drugs is so hard to stop because of those who is addicted to it. Maybe someday, my country is totally drug free.

I think he can do it because he has the political will to do it. And my God, he hates drug. Drug war in the Philippines is very bloody because the drug cartel are controlling or buying the police force for their protection.

He can but i think 6 years is not enough to totally stop drugs. My paternal family hates the current president due to the bloody campaigns. I think, what they do not understand is, it is not the president that want them dead, it's the police officers who protects them, they would rather kill them rather than for them to sing their names as protector. In fact, the president does not hesitate to put punishment on police officers who were involved in the unlawful killings.

I don’t think that this could happen. In Duterte’s government I believe that it could be minimize, but when we say that Philippines could be drug free? I really think it won’t happen. In a country that drug was already acute it can’t be fully cured.
