I compiled the new wallet from git.
ubuntu 16.04.
first time it loaded, then I did "setgenerate true" and it crashed:

terminate called after throwing an instance of 'std::runtime_error'
what():  CreateNewBlock() : ConnectBlock failed

after that, every time I load the wallet it hangs on:

init message: Loading wallet...

using 100% cpu.
then I need to kill it with SIGKILL.

did you use the latest git commit (5hrs ago)? i read something about a broken function when mining today in the telegram chat which got pushed to git afaik

0.01100000

Don't miss the train. Remember that zcash future is worth 0.2 each

Also remember that you can copy paste your own coin for 0.00000000 and call it z-whatever

Could someone with experience tell me how much time does it take on Novaexchange to get those 6 confirmations for a transaction?
I deposited there 1 hour ago and still shows 0/6 confirmations.

... thats 20% premine boys.

Fail.

A premine is, by definition, mined first, or at the beginning.

Ongoing mine. Corporate subsidy. Ver tax. Whatever you want to call it it's high af, and don't understand how devs think they can make something that will be actually used as a currency when they are siphoning off 20% of the entire money supply.

It's only 10% of the supply.  Dev subsidy disappears on halving.  And it's split 5 ways... In to 5 addresses.  2 for each dev (you do realize this is their full time job...), 2 for each of the three investors, one of which is Ver.

You guys make me sick.  Go do some shit to make me money off your hard work and get paid nothing while I sit here and collect.  Unbelievable.

Just to add further to this, much of it is also reserved for bounties, and note, if the devs stop working on the coin then the coin will die, people will stop mining it and stop trading it and they lose the value of their subsidy. So it's an incentive to keep working for years versus a premine where they get the loot all up front. Think of it more like a paid salary.

Some correction needed.

I take it you're new to trading?  Looks bullish to me.  Consolidating before our next move up.

It's worked thus far.  I agree that the fundamentals are driving the price as well.

See?
