Bitcoin mining is now a specialized and very risky industry, just like gold mining. Amateur miners are unlikely to make much money, and may even lose money. Bitcoin is much more than just mining, though!

I saw that us1 was down too.  I have us2 as a backup on cgminer 3.2.1 but it didn't switch over.  I restarted and it picked us2 correctly still it's kinda annoying it didn't autoswitch.

You are in a maze of twisty little passages, all alike.

US1 is offline, 2 and 3 are still up.  I'm working on the US1 issue.

Congratulations to all the PPS miners at this moment. Is there any historical chart which shows DGM on EMC is eventually equal to PPS? Thank you

PPM has a mandatory 5% fee AFAIK, so in the long run DGM is expected to have a better return (assuming your donation amount is <5%).

Thanks. But still I want to see a chart of EMC which shows since the beginning of their mining a comparison between PPS and EMC. The only charts I can find are some historical charts of shares per block with an average Luck calculated. It would be nice to see which system till now (since the beginning of EMC) has the benefit... I know this is variable, but in the long run PPS and DGM must be equal. I think its hard to calculate because the Difficulty is rising and in a bad luck month for DGM this is a real forever loss, because in a lucky period the Difficulty is much higher and the payout less.

Hmm, I don't know. I don't have an Avalon, so I couldn't say for sure.  Try using Stratum.  stratum+tcp://us2.eclipsemc.com:3333

Avalons be doing only Getwork.  To using stratum must be doing proxy.

I saw this in the bitminter thread.  I assume this could be modified to point to, and work with, EMC.

mining_proxy.exe -o mint.bitminter.com -p 3333

See this page on Slush if you need to pick up the proxy software:

Hashrate is growing exponentially last 7 days (atm over 8.5TH/s!) @ EMC. Something to do with Singles (testing?) ? any other explanation?

SMS is not free.  The format is 1XXXYYYZZZZ for US numbers.

EMC is the default pool for Easyminer

I had 2 machines on us1 and although they appeared to be hashing correctly, EMC web site reported that they were not hashing.  Manually switching to us2 and us3 resolved the issue.

Does us1 have a problem?

US1 seemed to be stuck... it's processing shares now and will process all the back shares.  Hashrates might look a bit goofy if you were on US1 for awhile.
