For those who are more experienced with mining. What would happen if i increase the Memory Clock From 1250 to 1575. I noticed an increase of around 20 sols from 215 to 235. But i'm thinking this could damage or low the life expectancy but i dont know.

Should i keep it to the max or go back to the default settings? My rig is a 6 x hd shappire 7950.

Thanks

You can overclock it to 1575 but most likely the speed won't increase that much. THe 7950 will handle it.

In case anyone wants to know what 6 280x hash.
It floats around 245 to 265 H/s stock settings.

@Claymore:

Dev fee connect and disconnect work well in nanopool. However, upon disconnecting from your pool, it takes like 20~30 s to reconnect to nanopool

It's too long...

Its reducilous that a two generation old card is faster than the Rx cards

the RX cards should be getting at least 60 SOLS

The 7950/7970/280x were always the best mining cards due to their large memory bandwidth.

If it wasn't for the DAG file in ETH they would still hash at 27MH/s.

During the Litecoin days they hashed at 80% of the speed of a 290 and cost only 60% of the price. They were forgotten with ETH mining but are now back and killing RX480s.

No 8GB is a little faster.

30MH/s instead of 28MH/s for ETH
50Sols instead of 40Sols for ZEC.

Hi Claymore.
Amazing job
Thanks for that amazing piece of programing.
I think you should charge 4% for the miner.
Nothing more stabke or faster out there.
At least until something equivalent gets out.
If people arent happy, they can use something else lol.
Again thanks again for the miner and all your support.

I'd love to know the answer to this question too!   or ANY comparison of the two 480's with 4 or 8 gb memory... to see just what difference it makes.

Wow Claymore.... Went from 700+ to 1551 with some tweaking.
Went from 160 to 255 on a 6 GPU RX480 4GB rig...

Miner reports locally 340H/s across 2 rigs, nanpool reports average 6 hour as 36sol/s LOL.... (this is after at least 6 hours hashing on nanopool)

I have a Rig of 2 Sapphire RX480 4GB + 2x 8GB Version of them. All mining with claymore on stock BIOS.
4GB get around 35sol/s, 8GB around 40sol/s

Yeah I have a 7950 sitting in the shop unused, just ordered some risers and plan on putting that on a rig.  I have room for 2 so I may buy up another one on ebay, that will give me close to 80 h/s more on zcash for about 100 bucks.  The watts won't be that bad either, certainly better than the 290s.

Pretty hard to beat that hash/sol to $$$
