Just a little FYI: Tried to update to the latest driver (381.65...I think), but it is awful...maybe on my setup, but for 500 shares, I was getting 100-120 reject / gpu. With the 378.78, it is almost perfect: 1k share / 10 reject with the following settings:

No way I am going to use pool run by a guy named "crackfoo"! Ok, just kidding. Thanks. What about miningpoolhub? It converts hashes to BTC internally and stores them on its own wallet. But I am having trouble understanding the costs involved. How does it compare to zpool? |

I' am facing strange thing with my rig. I can't start 4 x Gtx 1060 cards. Only 3 of them working on the same time. If I launching any random 3 of them it just fine. At 4x driver crashes and you have to restart OS.

latest nvidia drivers
0.3.3b miner version.
Any ideas? I have only 4G RAM, maybe here the issue?

Someone else may be able to chime in with the exact details here but I'm pretty sure there has been some controversy about zpool taking very large percentages out of miner's earnings as fees. I'm sure there is a thread here somewhere about it. I could be wrong and maybe it was another pool, but it just rang a bell when I read this post. |

I started mining with 1 AMD 7950 and 1 R9-280X. Then I gradually built my AMD operation into 12 R9-290s. Awesome ETH hash but ridiculous power consumption and heat. Over the last year I defected to the Nvidia team. I now use GTX 1070s. They were expensive to buy (probably a bargain now) but awesome hash rate vs. power consumption. blah blah blah blah

Hello all,
I've been working on optimizing the miner for windows and linux.
Here's my most optimal current setup:
miner v0.3.3b
GTX 1070
Windows 7
90% TDP
+200 Core Clock
+700 Memory Clock
450 Sol/s
I'd prefer to mine in linux, and my initial setup attempt with ubuntu 16.10 - I've not been able to get overclocking to work right so it seems it is at stock - but at 100% TDP, it seems I'm only getting 420sol/s.
Has anyone been able to get better numbers with linux at all or should I stick with Windows 7? I've had a very frustrating time working with trying to get the overclock to work, doesn't seem to be functional via the GUI.
You have to play around with the xorg.conf file and trick Linux into thinking their are monitors attached to each card. Not sure if dummy plugs will work, but I have overclocking working. Highest I've hit with my Gigabyte Gaminig 1 rig is 430-460 with just playing with mem. Cards crap out at anything over +50 clock speed. Here's a guide I used to get iverclocking working in Linux. However; if you want an easy solution you can try nvOC . Using it should also teach you a little about bash scripts. |

for instance, a 1080 at minimum target power limit uses 100W, but eats 124 watts at the wall (with a gold rated PSU at 40% load)
so if you want real numbers, use a AC wattmeter, like the Kill-a-watt gadget, or better, because that is the real power you are paying for.

I'm running this on Suprnova and mining randomly stops every 10s of minutes saying that GPU has been rejected. If I press enter on the cmd window the mining resumes again.
Currently I'm using autohotkey to press enter for me in the cmd window every once in a while. Are there any neater ways around this?
Sorry I'm new to cryptocurrencies.
Does it do the same on other pools? Have you tried on Flypool? Seems better with the flypool server. But when I get disconnected the mining doesn't seem to restart until I press enter: "Error: Lost Connection with the server. Attempt reconnect..." |

What mobo are you using? I have kind of same problem with a MSI z170. I cannot use a 5th card on it. I know it is a recuring problem with this board but I didnt have time to "mine" the solution yet. |
