Bitcoin is being used widely in porn sites, gambling and drug dealing sectors. Is that why the btc made for ? I have seen a lot of members in this forum discussing about buying drugs, gambling and enjoying porn with bitcoin. Is not it a misuse of a currency ? Block chain tech is a awesome tech and btc is getting popular. I hate these misuses of precious btc. It hurts me. This will lead into unhealthy society along with unhealthy future generation.
Because we can use bitcoin around the world without converting the fiat into another fiat. It also a chance to change the price into a fiat so that by hold bitcoin there is a chance that our bitcoin make it double someday. |

I think, the most people prefer bitcoin, because it is better way for online purchases and international transfers. It is decentrilized. And of course, it gives possibility to earn, to get a good profit.

More easy for transactions is my considering to use bitcoin over fiat money. Besides that, bitcoin also can use for long term investment, and I like gambling so, when gambling with bitcoin is more secure.

Sometimes even how good the purpose of something there are still way of greedy people to make crimes just like buying drugs and for gambling. It is really hard to eliminate this kind of situation. But as a wise and responsible individidual you can use bitcoin in a good purpose just like using it buying something that are legal and it can also be your source of income in a good way of gaining it just like joining signature campaign. |

I also prefer cryptocurrency more than fiat because investing on bitcoins today is very profitable and if you are smart enough to determine on when the market price will decrease or increase then there is no doubt that you will get rich immediately within just a few months. I also trust crypto much more. First of all, I can improve my financial situation trading and investing in ICOs. Secondly, I often help my close people living abroad, and crypto transactions are cheaper than operations with fiat. |

1.Bitcoin is a store of value,
2.it's limited supply so governments will not be able to steal money from buy by printting more money or quantitaive easing like they did during the financial crisis.
3. I can control my money not banks.
4. I can transfer globally without reporting to governments.
5. I can create my accounts without consent from government
There are thousands of reasons why I prefer Bitcoin over fiat.

For me I prefer bitcoin because it puts power in my hands. It is easier and more efficient than fiat and I would choose it any day and I don't have to worry about carrying around a bunch of cash with bitcoin.

If you are asking in a bitcoin forum / community why we are preferring bitcoin over fiat money, the answer is very obvious. And if you are asking the banks why people prefer to use fiat instead of bitcoin, you'll hear different degrading words from them. Frankly, I prefer to use bitcoin now it has a lot of use, online money, investment, bigger potential and it's decentralized.

I would choose it any day and I don't have to worry about carrying around a bunch of cash with bitcoin.
But the fact remains that Bitcoin is not very widely accepted around the world. So there is not much use in carrying Bitcoin with you. You may need to convert it to cash, before using it for shopping. |

Because bitcoin is very easy to transact aside from that bitcoin has very low transaction fee and very quick. There are many online business that need bitcoins as their term of money because of its fast transaction and low fees. This is one reason people must prefer to use bitcoin. |

Many reason are here to prefer the bitcoin into fiat, but if you are talking about drug and porn sites and also any bad ways, where people using the bitcoin over the fiat. So don't blame to bitcoin, it is the mistake of the people and also our society. If we can't use the crypto currencies in these sites, than people who are using them, they can't left, definitely, than they will be used fiat currency.

I think people choose and use bitcoin over fiat because it is more secured and profitable at the same time. It is an advantage to have it because it is profitable and it could also provide us lot of opportunities to earn and save for the future. It just so happened that bad people are too abusive and using bitcoin for illegal transactions. |

I can not give an answer to this question, everyone thinks in his own way! I prefer to keep my money in the Crypto currency and in dollars! In my opinion, bitcoin is not as stable as the dollar and there is a chance to lose your money and time!
