Maybe people choose bitcoin because of its decentralized nature. Bitcoin can be used anywhere and anytime. Bitcoin is also not taxable. Bitcoin is also not tied to the bank.

Money is meant for spending, regardless, what it is being used for. Some people prefer bitcoin because of the innovation and concept behind the currency, which is actually different from the usual fiat currency. |

because the value of bitcoin is still increasing so fast so some people prefer to hold bitcoin than fiat because they want to get more fiat money becuase if you have a lot of bitcoins you canconvert it into real money or fiat to buy anything that you want. |

Why do some people prefer Bitcoin over fiat? I think it's more profitable to choose bitcoin than fiat, seeing the current high bitcoin price compared to choosing fiat that only high value items or more melunjak its price but fiat sediri remain the same as ever.

I agree on that i think people prefer bitcoin because they really see the advantages of bitcoin over fiat,fiat is just an ordinary money that has an stable price and normaly use to all payments.While in bitcoin we can really gain even on holding it for a long time which is not really happening in fiat because we cant gain on holding fiat.Bitcoin has an unstable pricw which make it verry exciting kinds of investm3nt and many people really want to ingage on it becase they really see thats theres capability to earn. |

I know bitcoin has great potentials and I also know that there are some bad user of bitcoin like any other currency. But my point is, those bad users are a lot in number. I have seen thousands of posts and comments regarding uses of bitcoin in porn and gambling. You can find it in this forum with minimum effort too. And as bitcoin is not globally adopted, those users really play great impact on impression of btc, I guess majority of usage people get from bitcoin is only as an investment and for trading. then the second place is for payment and third with close rank is gambling. the rest are a relatively small in percentage.
The main reason behind the creation of Bitcoin was to provide millionaire with the facility of transacting large amount of money into any part of world at cheap rates within few seconds. Bitcoin has given what it was created for but with time it started to gain popularity and everyone wanted to have Bitcoin. Its price skyrocketed making it the best investment tool of the moment. Now everyone wants to have Bitcoin and it is the future of money. |

Yes it is currently bitcoin increasingly popular, its users are also growing. but very unfortunate if they abuse bitcoin for negative things as you mentioned, yes it is up to those who use it we can not forbid it. But I also do not like bitcoin in use for negative things. Why do not they use bitcoin for positive things, if they use bitcoin for positive things, surely they will benefit. |

Very well agreed! But the point is, even before there was BTC, people still did the same with fiat money. They used paper money to buy drugs and they paid online for porn site. It won't change any thing with how they use any kind of money. But keeping BTC out from all this stuff would be much better. |

If I understand my research about bitcoin right it is really made for ease of digital transactions so those bad acts just use bitcoin to make payment of their goods and service more convenient for more people. |

Many people prefer bitcoin versus fiat, probably because bitcoin prices are higher than fiat. But unfortunately many people abuse this valuable bitcoin. I hope there is a solution that overcomes bitcoin misuse. Because the thing I fear with bitcoin misuse is bitcoin removed and damaging the younger generation.

Because the value of fiat is very low now a days and it is very hard to earn but through bitcoins the value is increasing periodically and as the time goes by we can still earn more money because we can earn it through working on bounty campaigns.
