There are many reasons behind it and I believe one of them is the convenience. In bitcoin, you can earn money in many ways and you can easily find one. Plus, anyone who wants to earn can freely find ways, too. In fiat, there is so many process and you need a lot of effort just to earn enough money. Also, there are requirements that some cannot achieve because of something or his/her status, which in bitcoin, is not required.

Because of some reasons people usually like Fiat over Bitcoin. one of the major reasons is that unavailability of Bitcoin. you can't access to the Bitcoin wherever you want, you also don't get it if you have don't have access to the internet. so without the Internet, you can't get connected to Bitcoin and you can't withdraw a single bitcoin. that is the main reason for me in that issue.

so its because transaction in Bitcoins occurs instantly, You pay a very small amount of fee for any transaction, Bitcoin rates against fiat currencies worldwide fluctuates a lot and the profits (and losses) could be very dramatic very soon, Bitcoin Network is Secure, Bitcoin transactions are anonymous. so the reasons behind ppl prefer bitcoin over fiat is security, fast transaction and universal nature.
I think when it comes to transaction time, bitcoin is actually slower. Unless you are willing to pay higher transaction fees, then your transaction is more likely going to take a couple of hours before it gets confirmed. Basically just think of it, as the transaction fee increases in bitcoin, the transaction time becomes lower. The transaction fee is high by default when transacting in fiat but the transaction time is really low. I think it's the same when it comes to that aspect. If you're willing to wait, just select bitcoin since it has cheap rate. Along with all the obvious reasons (anonymity, cheap tx fee, security, etc) I choose bitcoin because the people that are selling digital goods on the Internet are only accepting bitcoins. Some in my place are also accepting load rebate but I think that's just a lot less convenient than having only one platform to transact with everyone on the Internet. Plus, the transaction fee is not as low. |

Bitcoin is being used widely in porn sites, gambling and drug dealing sectors. Is that why the btc made for ? I have seen a lot of members in this forum discussing about buying drugs, gambling and enjoying porn with bitcoin. Is not it a misuse of a currency ? Block chain tech is a awesome tech and btc is getting popular. I hate these misuses of precious btc. It hurts me. This will lead into unhealthy society along with unhealthy future generation.
The problem is not in the bitcoin but in the users and the illegal services. I think it goes in every goods and currencies that they have always the possibility to be used for illegal transactions and other negative activities. Greed is what makes every good resources turned to something else dark. |

What I am seeing right now and this is also based on research that majority of the people who are having bitcoins prefers to hold or invest than spend it for small items to stores both online or offline. I myself included that I hold and invest bitcoin than use it for any small purchases  |

I think that is where Bitcoin started from but that doesn’t mean that it has to stay there. But honestly people use fiat currency for these kinds of things as well, I think it is just an evolution of the times we live in and not saying that Bitcoin or any cryptocurrencies are evil because they operate in unscrupulous areas.

Some people prefer Bitcoin over fiat because of the facilities that Bitcoin provides them .Bitcoin provides cheap and fast transactions within and outside the country that too without any taxes but no such service is availaible when we work with cash. Bitcoin is the finest investmemt plan that can even double our investments if we hold our bitcoin's for a suitable period of time but we cannot get such profits by investing in cash. The identity of people involved in the transactions made my Bitcoin remains hidden but no such anonymity feature is provided in cash transactions.Moreover it is very easily accessible and people can keep a check on there money .

I do not think that it's a correct way of thinking to compare fiat and crypto at all.
Any crypto at the moment is more a risky and profitable asset, but not a way of payment! Fiat is not an asset, it's just a payment method.
Even thou that some people pay for something (let's say porn) with crypto, there always going to be a way more people who pay for the same thing with fiat...

the most importat reason shall be bitcoin is on the rising way, holding bitcoin can give people more profits than any fiat, also, bitcoin are well known than ever before, and this give people more courage to buy
fiat value is not increasing while bitcoin's currency does. In my opinion i think that the main reason for every investor to start business with bitcoins is because of the long investment that bitcoin can give. Starting a business will make you earn more money than working in the corporate world. |

There's a lot of reasons why people prefer to use the bitcoin over fiat. I think one of their reason why they stick to bitcoin, its because btc has a lot of great features than the fiat and its also much more profitable than the fiat. Lastly I think most user prefer bitcoin because it cost less to send money and you don't have to pay taxes for transaction made using bitcoin.

The flexibility of Bitcoin whether it may involve transactions for purchase or whatever activity it may be has been proven to be way more efficient compared to fiat. This might have been the reason why more people prefer to use it rather than cash. With Bitcoin, transactions has been made easy and cheap due to the low fees it entails. More importantly, since the government has no power over it, there is no tax involved when using Bitcoin to transact.

Yes I am agree with you but there must be some reasons that why people prefer bitcoin while not fiat because fiat does not work everywhere like for online shopping etc and then bitcoin some out to help and also some negatives ways like drugs which is not able openly so they use btc and get it this is one of the negative reason that why I think people like and prefer btc. |
