The main reason is certainly more practical, we all know that bitcoin is easier to use for online transactions compared to bank transfers, besides bitcoin also become the hope of future investment.
you are correct there.. bitcoin, being a limited resources, offers a good value versus like the fiat money where the government has really no limit of producing it and so inflation happens.. With bitcoin, it won't happen because it will stop producing once it reaches its max cap. Bitcoin can use for convenient and fast transaction where is more secure as well. More person prefer to use bitcoin despite of its value is pumping up and down because there are always a posibility that during its down, the price will get high in the future that can gain more profit when taking investment on it. |

nah i aggree with you dude , the reason why bitcoin is bein used for bad purpose is because not many country legalized Bitcoin and then make a legal terms about how to properly used Bitcoin in each country. |

I am one of those people that prefer bitcoins over fiat. Why? Because so many things!
1. You can send money to anyone all over the world in an instant! Well technically not instant due to confirmations.
2. No need for a physical wallet and change. I hate change that are in coins, because it's heavy and inconvenient.
3. If you secure it well enough, then you won't get robbed.
4. Bitcoins are the money of the future.
So much other things!

Recently, we have an example is Bitcoin Cash, the value and the total supply coin of this coin very high. Even it has value #2 on the coinmarketcap, pass over Dash and Ethereum. |

Of course almost users here will choose bitcoin over fiat money for the fact we can make profits either in short or long run because of its volatility and fluctuating price in no time. But you can lose if you don't manage it very well. We can have big returns just by holding our bitcoins.
This is the correct answer, fiat has some advantages but the fact that we can earn a lot of money by just holding our bitcoin gives bitcoin a very obvious advantage, this is not true for fiat, thanks to the rampant inflation caused by governments of the world that do not seem able to just spend the taxes they get from the people, no, they need to create money from thin air and spend that too. |

Bitcoin is being used widely in porn sites, gambling and drug dealing sectors. Is that why the btc made for ? I have seen a lot of members in this forum discussing about buying drugs, gambling and enjoying porn with bitcoin. Is not it a misuse of a currency ? Block chain tech is a awesome tech and btc is getting popular. I hate these misuses of precious btc. It hurts me. This will lead into unhealthy society along with unhealthy future generation.
Maybe because Bitcoin is decentralized, meaning, they are allowed to use Bitcoin as they would like to. Also, its value is increasing as time passes by that will give them profit by just having Bitcoin or holding it in a period of time. Sometimes, it has less charges and faster transactiom compared to transactions done with the use of regular currencies or fiat. |

People prefer bitcoin over fiat because it is decentralized and anonymous. You can do transactions without revealing your identity. Also, it is more convenient to use. Like paying bills, you can pay bills without travelling. If you have gadget and internet access, you can pay your bills right away.

Bitcoin is useful currency but comission for transactions are not so low as it seems to be) At present there are a lot of criptocurrencies with commissions lower than bitcoin's one. For ex, it is necessary about 0.001 BTC for BTC transaction - it is about 4$!

To hold? FIAT, the global economy and interest rates are generally low (in UK at least). Interest versus the rate of inflation, growth of pensions etc. it's currently a poor investment to leave your money in the bank. Bitcoin might be up and down, but it's growth far outweighs that of FIAT.
