You could do nasty thing with bitcoins, no middlemen means nobody would even know when/where a meaningful transaction is made, at least that's is what bitcoin could do. Bitcoin currently is growing unhealthy too, people are rushing in like gold and bulling the market like nobody else, it's not natural growth the rising price in BTC doesn't mean that people are adopting towards cyrptocurrency, but rather another form of investment which they would dump when the timing is right. Hoping for a holy cryptoworld? it's unlikely when no regulation is here, and no regulation means misuse would happen anyways.

yes some people prefer bitcoin to fiat because it can be said for some where tax-free bitcoin coin blocks are great technology and btc is currently very popular and some people use it for roads or just buy food I do not think it's good to use bitcoin for something negative and most importantly not breaking the law because there are some people abuse btc

Well we can't do anything about it since it's there money and not ours. But I too treat bitcoin as an investment where we sell when we know that the price is high enough already and buy once the price go down so we can earn money from it and I don't see any problem about that except only if the one who'd do this is someone who is a whale where it will affect the price heavily but he would need to dump a lot of bitcoin for that to happen. |

I have seen a lot of members in this forum discussing about buying drugs, gambling and enjoying porn with bitcoin. Is not it a misuse of a currency ? Block chain tech is a awesome tech and btc is getting popular. I hate these misuses of precious btc. It hurts me. This will lead into unhealthy society along with unhealthy future generation.
That was the sad part of using bitcoin being use in illegal activities because of being anonymous of btc holder. They prefer using btc because of fast transaction and can be done any time and any where in the world. |

Because bitcoin is more profitable and easy to use for online transactions, if we use fiat of course there is no hope for profit but bitcoin because of decentralization it can profit up to tens of percent in a week.

Until now there are groups still stocking Fiat and the same thing with Bitcoin as well, despite the fact that Bitcoin is used as part of some unlawful practice, but at the same time ends up with reason in connection with the group's request at Bitcoin.  |

I prefer Bitcoin over flat because it is much better if you will use it as investment, for gambling and for easier way to pay bills. yes for investment we all know that the price is not stable and during the course of time Bitcoin price keeps going up, for gambling because Bitcoin can help you gamble anywhere you want and pay your monthly bills without hassle, without falling in-line.

Bitcoins have more advantages over fiat as bitcoins will build free market capitalism. Bitcoins are more secure than fiat and easily sold online against a huge profit. It is increasing at a very high speed. The most important thing is that there is no tax policy over bitcoins investment.

I bet that the government will put a really large tax on exchanges in order to gain some power over bitcoin. Exchanges or local online wallets still have business permits and are still under a jurisdiction. If they are going to put a large tax for selling bitcoins, then your exchange rate will probably become much lower. On the other hand, this can easily be countered by clever countries who would put a much smaller tax for cashing out bitcoins. Bitcoin users will probably just start using that exchange or online wallet instead so if your government is thinking ahead, they will be the one to charge smaller tax or at least don't put a large tax on bitcoin at all. Right now, there are countries where you are actually required to declare the bitcoin addresses that you own and by the end of the year (this is called annual tax, I think), you would pay 25% of the total cash out amount that you did with bitcoin although there is no capital gain tax. Honestly, the future is still kind of blurry with bitcoins since there is not much users of it yet. But along with all these advantages and good reasons why people would prefer bitcoin over fiat, fiat is still the king since there is no transaction time and fee when paying with it. At least when you're doing it face-to-face with the other end and not electronically. |

yeah, actually it will make people who do not use bitcoin will think that bitcoin is for criminals. and I ever read someone made a thread who said that his father did not agree his job to earn bitcoin. it was reallt bad. Well we can't help it since one of the many great features of bitcoin is being private and fast when it comes to transactions online and this advantage have been exploited by criminals to their vile use and so did other currency before bitcoins and even trading materials like from drugs to animals parts like ivory. Everything of value is bound to be used and taken advantage by good and bad people alike. |

Yeah you are right and they are aware of the increasing price of the bitcoin this is the reason why they are now preferring the bitcoin than the fiat. some of the party misuse bitcoin anonymous feature for bad things, and why you only bring negatives news, there are a lot of good things that bitcoin brought, it had helped so many people in economics sector, it had provided so many new job regarding to cryptocurrencies, this is the side that never being told by others I don't think so. Bitcoin is made to help other people who are looking for extra income and reach some of their dreams through earning in bitcoin. But those people who are using bitcoin in a bad way, then it is their choice but that doesn't mean that bitcoin is made for that kind of bad way of using it. The person who made bitcoin cannot control the people on how they should use it because he has no super powers to monitor everyone who are using it. |
