Why some people prefer Bitcoin over fiat ?

I think, Some people prefer bitcoin rather than fiat because it is very volatile and it is one of the best part why many investors or traders make a lot of profit in using or holding bitcoin either long term or short term. Bitcoin also has the security which you don't risk your identity just to send or receive money from other person and bitcoin also ask lower transaction fees than fiat.

Yes, for trading and investments me and maybe some people will choose bitcoin rather than fiat. Because the price of bitcoin which tends to rise and fall quickly would provide a tidy profit. But fiat better for savings because the price is likely to be stable, then we are not afraid of losing a lot of money. Thank you

yes i also giving preference to bitcoin. as bitcoin is providing a variety of services, to us which make bitcoin more valuable to me. i use bitcoin for paying my bell as well as for refilling my mobile, i also use bitcoin for investment purpose. hope that bitcoin facilities will increase more and more.

I have seen a lot of members in this forum discussing about buying drugs, gambling and enjoying porn with bitcoin. Is not it a misuse of a currency ? Don't worry! Bitcoin is definitely not made for such purpose but you can't help it since the nature of bitcoin is to be anonymous .  It is a given thing that it will attract things like that .  But it really varies per user,  What is her/his purpose or intention to bitcoin . Just think of it this way, Every currency are used for both good and illegal purposes and bitcoin is a currency too so it can have both sides .

There is no way to stop users with bad intention but as long as there is a balance between good and bad then we're okaaay

Bitcoin has more advantage than fiat money online. It has a special characteristics that made user got attracted and interested.
I am using them both daily, it just that BTC is very unique, we can earn it in faucets and other services.

Definitely right, Bitcoin is making its own market name that persuade people to use it and preferred by people because aside from increasing value of bitcoin it has fast transaction.
So to compare it to fiat currency, bitcoin increasing its value but the fiat currency you use, is not increasing.

Well bitcoin is made and used primary online, right? Right now w can see more integration into bigger business but still those are mainly online businesses. Though it' only a matter of time before bitcoin is accepted widely in your local stores.

Scam is found everywhere. Even with fiat people were scammed. These can't  be compared with each other to have a classified information about real money and bitcoin. Decentralization gives easy access to go scammed.

it's more easy to scam with fiat, you can skim other credit debit cards very easily today, there are even youtube video about this, you can also use the funds on those card to make more money than what you get, buy reselling stolen cd key of gaming and sell them at g2a, did you missed the scandal at g2a?

You cannot make some people behave how you want them to, because they will always do what they have been doing, so if there are some bad people who have been doing this always so they don't care what currency it is and what it is made for but they will use it as how they use other currency for their actions.

yes agree with you. i think we cannot stop investing in bitcoin, because of the fear of scamming. i think you can more easily be scam  in fiat money, you just need to try to invest your bitcoin in such place where you conform that your investment is safe.

i think there are so many place where bitcoin is also using for shopping in local shops. and the trend is now extending to other countries also. hope that in future we will be able to use it for shopping everything even in our local shops,

1. Just because bitcoin is listed as a payment method on porn sites and bitcoin powered gambling is on a rise we shouldn't discriminate technology behind BTC.
I am not sure that you know - but porn industry was responsible for huge popularity of VHS standard back in the day, porn barons are really open minded about new technology.

2. Bitcoin is just a currency, not a tool which will make us better humans, you can't possibly expect that BTC won't be used for illegal activities in the same manner FIAT is used.

3. Illegal bitcoin usage is greatly exaggerated by media and bitcoin enemies. Bitcoin is a problem for current economic system - banks hate BTC. No wonder bankers want to discredit it.

Thats what im hoping also that bitcoin adoption will spread fast and would able to reach most of countries and there are lots of merchants on which we could able to use our bitcoin directly without the need of exchanging it to fiat first. Bitcoin cant really be blame on all of this thing since it depends on people on how and where they gonna use it.

Of course as bitcoin is anonymous and is difficult to be tracked. No one wants government to track all your money moves. People want privacy. Also it is tamper proof so fraud is not easy to play with.

For now there is no known way governments can track your Bitcoin or even do something with it.. For now, I repeat. You never know when they got that idea and want to implement it soon.. This happens most of the time sooner than people expected. Bitcoin isn't much of a threat because we're a few tens of millions only and we're talking worldwide.

The truth has to be told that the major problem facing humanity here on earth is not of people using drugs, gambling or pornography but that of people in power coveting our common wealth and then turning aside to print money from thin air, thinking that would fill the void. Over the years people have been laboring endlessly to making meaning of their existence here on earth, but the fetters created by the financial mazes, leaves people as modern slaves and that is the major problem facing the world, because man was created free.

Most people that have taken to drugs, gambling or pornography were pushed into it by life that has been made unbearable by the slave masters, so the first task to addressing issues facing mankind, is simply to go back to where two roads crossed and we took the one most traveled.
