I prefer bitcoin over fiat because it's easily accessible via bitcoin wallet just like a bank but with no long delay, it's not taxed because no bank owns it and it can be used on any country without converting to local currency of each country. That is convenient.

Bitcoin is better for online purchases and international transfer(the legal and illegal ones, but some people concentrate too much in the illegal aspect), because it is quicker, almost always cheaper and won't require bank accounts or sign ups in sites that could froze your account at any time
I agree with this. I use bitcoins because they are traceable, like earlier when someone scammed me I cannot claim it since the transaction is not public and just in my account. Now with bitcoins I can easily show the transaction to anyone and make a claim. |

people who are into internet not just the one who uses the internet to log in facebook but the one who are curious about the internet are the one who prefer Bitcoin . People who just surf the net looking for dates dont know about Bitcoin so they're preferring fiat over Bitcoin ,they are the traditional people who just use the internet for fun but not for learning. Fiat has many advantage because it has worldwide usage in each country compared to bitcoin.

but for now it seems you can not use bitcoin like fiat to buy goods easily anywhere, because of the limited number of users and not trafficking who accepted bitcoin |

but for now it seems you can not use bitcoin like fiat to buy goods easily anywhere, because of the limited number of users and not trafficking who accepted bitcoin Many places are still not accepting bitcoin as a use of payment directly,you have to exchange it to fiat so that you can buy the things that you want.But as we try to see the use of bitcoin gives the easiest way of paying bills as well as buying commodities by not using fiat,the services offered the fastest way of sending of any transactions that you have. |

Now also it is not completely secure when the days are passing many new things and techniques will be implemented to avoid illegal activities with bitcoin. So in future you can trace each and every transaction who is selling and who is buying bitcoin. |

Bitcoin is being used widely in porn sites, gambling and drug dealing sectors. Is that why the btc made for ? I have seen a lot of members in this forum discussing about buying drugs, gambling and enjoying porn with bitcoin. Is not it a misuse of a currency ? Block chain tech is a awesome tech and btc is getting popular. I hate these misuses of precious btc. It hurts me. This will lead into unhealthy society along with unhealthy future generation.
A misuse of a currency only happen if you use it to do something illegal, there are parts of the world where all three are illegal but in the western world buying drugs is the only illegal thing of the three, so as long as you use your bitcoin in a lawful way then there is nothing wrong. |

As you mentioned above it is easy to spend on porn sites
And buy premium membership and all.
Also youth do not require any credit card for that.
Just a wallet is enough to buy that.
So people are more engaged now a days to earn bitcoins.
On the other hand , youth will have to ask their parents for online
Payment . So I think because of this reason, bitcoin is preferred over fiat (other currencies)

Yes,surely their have some benefits people prefer Bitcoin over fiat.Bitcoin is similar to traditional currencies ,although there are different types of virtual currencies.Our traditional banks policy and our digital cryptocurrency were totally different.Bitcoin acts like a central bank,and you are only one who controlling without any difficulty it what do you wish. |

Since the bitcoin is not real money. We cannot buy it thoroughly in our markets. And the fiat money is a legal money and that is approved by government. Many says that the bitcoin is for criminal why? because bitcoin is not legal for other country. But because bitcoin has a bitcoiners it will continue increasing the graph for bitcoin over fiat, cause bitcoin is easy and I started already it so I will stay with it.
yes bitcoin is not money no doubt about this but i think we also cannot buy real money in market, because you have to earn it. and same is the case about bitcoin, you cannot buy bitcoin, but you can only change your fiat into bitcoin for the same value. and then you can earn bitcoin from trading or from any other services. I am compelled to ask, what makes the fiat currencies real money that Bitcoin does not have? We call piece of papers money not because they are worth anything but simply because we settle to see and accept them as money. Same way, almost all of us here in this community and many more across the globe have come to see and accept Bitcoin as money. That is all that is needed and you may want to know that Bitcoin parades far more intrinsic values than almost all other forms of money out there. As you can see, some people don't understand that Bitcoin is money. And that is what hinders the adoption of the currency. People need to understand that the fiat currency they use is just a piece of paper that the government can issue at the rate they want. Bitcoin solves this problem, being a currency with a limited emission and at the same time decentralizing the process. |

You've already found the reason why some people prefer bitcoin over fiat to do some stuffs without showing their identity. The anonymity of bitcoin is what makes it useful to do those things. Anyway, OP probably is just obsess with bitcoin that he/she don't want to hear bad things about it. All I could say is this is part of being a currency, it gets dirty sometimes. But over all, it is useful.  |

I think the investment side is more appealing for now, with money transfer, I still have doubt that it is cheaper to come when we still need to exchange our fiat to bitcoin and then bitcoin to fiat once the receiver have the money. We know that the value for some exchange site is different from it's selling price, so that could be considered although indirectly as our charges. |

You've already found the reason why some people prefer bitcoin over fiat to do some stuffs without showing their identity. The anonymity of bitcoin is what makes it useful to do those things. Anyway, OP probably is just obsess with bitcoin that he/she don't want to hear bad things about it. All I could say is this is part of being a currency, it gets dirty sometimes. But over all, it is useful. We are moving towards a more advanced digital age. Modern technologies dictate what stays and what’s cool. Nowadays, with the advancement in which we do our transactions, some people prefer to use bitcoin because of its inherent anonymity and online capability. Online shopping would soon overtake physical shopping and bitcoin is one helpful instrument to accomplish such. I don’t know if it is a good thing because we are fast becoming a lazy people and want-everything-in-an-instant type of individuals. |

It depend on the users of bitcoin of where He/She gonna use it whether for good or bad purpose. Though bitcoin was design for Shopping Online, Money transfer, Billings, Savings, etc. Therefore this will depend on how we treat bitcoin into our lives. |

First reason of creating of bitcoin was for silk route drug dealing only but when the silk route got wash out the FBI got info about Bitcoin use in this transaction and then it came to public and then technical person saw the good side of technology and then they started to use this technology for all good purpose but still their are users who wants to use it for gambling , drug dealing and porn sites as if they use bitcoin then they dont need to give any information and any age gambler can do gambling which is not possible in fiat currency as in fiat gambling you have to give your identity proof then only you can play and under age cannot play gambling so bitcoin is a boon for them |

bitcoin was made to make users stay anonymous and those services such as porn or gambling are good places to spend bitcoins for ones entertainment pleasures and these are the same sectors that will also promote bitcoin for more people to adopt it and go mainstream. Am pretty sure there is no blue print on how bitcoins are to be used, but its best we all regulate ourselves |
