Bitcoin is being used widely in porn sites, gambling and drug dealing sectors. Is that why the btc made for ?

Other people think that bitcoin is made by those bad images.  For me, it depends on the people how or where to use it.  I used it for paying my bills, loading my phone,etc. No hassle at all.  I used both fiat and bitcoin in a good ways.

It's all the people's preference on what to use on purchasing and paying, it doesn't matter whether it is bitcoin or fiat. What is sure is when we consider bitcoin as money, it will have what money have the "dirt".

I agree but I think not only because bitcoin as investments that generate huge profits, but also because of its use easier than fiat. yesterday I redeem paper money from big nominal to small nominal, of about $700. My fingers become dirty due to be careful in counting fiat.

Life is funny, you have that kind of big amount and yet you complain about your hands get dirty, while for some people, they will be very happy to hold that big amount. That would tell me that life is not fair, people have different satisfaction.

Having said that, we cannot replace fiat just because we are comfortable with bitcoins, think of the majority, the government knows what they are doing.

Some people prefer bitcoin over fiat because on some places bitcoin is tax free. I guess it's not bad to use bitcoin for something as long as you're not breaking any law/rules from your place. There's much more misuses of btc but if we continue this discussion it's getting kinda off topic when the title is about bitcoin and fiat.

Actually, we cannot please many people nowadays about which of these two is among the best. Of course even up to now there is community still believed in Fiat and the same thing with Bitcoin too. Although bitcoin sometimes was being used in some illegal activities, but still becoming more stronger because of the demand of the community in bitcoin/crypto world.

Your transaction will remain secret as long as if no one recognises you as the owner of the wallets, if they do, then your transaction will be revealed because blockchain will always keep your transaction history.
So I must say that the secret status of your transaction is temporary in this case.

Although we love the bitcoin, but I am sure 90% of transactions every day are still using fiat money. We must be aware, the use of the bitcoin is very limited to the community who know the bitcoin, and that no more than 0.1% of the world population.

No it's not. Not because some of us here are using bitcoin in an illegal deeds doesn't mean that bitcoin is made just for this messy stuffs that can harm anyone or maybe your own self.

I have seen a lot of members in this forum discussing about buying drugs, gambling and enjoying porn with bitcoin. Is not it a misuse of a currency ? Block chain tech is a awesome tech and btc is getting popular. I hate these misuses of precious btc. It hurts me. This will lead into unhealthy society along with unhealthy future generation.

I agree in your opinion. Indeed that this will cause to a very unhealthy future generation, because kids nowadays are witnessing different brutal, or immoral deeds in their surroundings, causing them to rebel against their parents, or worst on a certain country and became a terrorist. But let's just hope that this problem in this world will be fix soon, though the percentage is very low that we can have peace in this earth.

OP, the bitcoin is not made to use in drugs, gambling nor porn, yet the users uses in that way because they cannot be traced that easily and the anonimity is the advantage of it so. It is in the users of bitcoin not to the creator or pioneer of it.

Yeah I agree with you. Most of the people use bitcoin anonymously and they do not want to show off and they never want to communicate with other people about Bitcoin. Bitcoin is not well supported on many aspects and not many people know about the exist of the Bitcoin. And some of them even think that Bitcoin is very dangerous.

Both Bitcoin and fiat are good for payment but I think one may consider Bitcoin over fiat based on a few reasons which are not limited to;
1. Low transactional fees,
2. 24/7 Accessibility,
3. Security.

I agree wih you.Bitcoin transaction is anonymous . Thats why people prefer using bitcoin. But this is not the only reason .In my opinion there are two more reasons for it. One reason is bicoin's price is increasing day by day.So many people want to keep bitcoins as a future assest or investment.Because they think its price will rise again. Another reason is its very easy to transfer bitcoins from one part of the world to another part. That too processing fee is much lesser when compared to paypal and other banking process.No headaches and no stress.Just you need a computer and internet .Thats it. I think its because of this people are preferring bitcoins over fiat.
