2 top addresses are frozen, and other top addresses can belong to exchanges, MOON is listed at 5 exchanges at the moment. If you see a big address, it doesn't mean 100% that these coins belong to 1 user, it can be a cold storage of exchange for all their users combined etc.

I lost all of my mooncoin from the cryptsy. I wish i held it in the wallet instead. I am glad that the mooncoin is still holding against the new currencies out there. Other than the changes of the logo what else are the new update on this coin? I am not sure why it is going up. I will probably use a paper wallet this time.

Now many coins (even completely abandoned) are pumped, MOON with a lot of unspendable coins looks very moderate if we compare it to many pumped coins. With MOON you at least have a time tested project, a real coin with real users, with big community, and probably the only coin ever which proves that it doesn't depend on exchanges. Many coins were traded at big exchanges and after sudden delisting cost nothing. And with MOON we see from the Bleutrade experience that even a small exchange which was fair and listed MOON while other exchanges were focusing on listing crowdsales/ICOs and were ignoring MOON, now is rewarded and generates a volume and liquidity in Mooncoin's order book sometimes even more than you can see in order books of big exchanges for some top coins listed there. It indicates the community demand: people are ready to risk and transfer $1 mil to small exchanges, just to be able to buy MOON. Think what could happen if it's listed at big exchanges. By ignoring MOON big exchanges miss a lot of possible fees.

The full Mooncoin client works great and syncs fast. If you see "No block source available" it generally means that currently there is a pause between blocks due to issues with difficulty readjustment algo (which will be fixed in a new release). Mooncoin was designed to be very fast (a 90 sec block time) and it's going to match it in the future, however, currently it has a DigiShield algo implemented (to protect small miners) which leads to these pauses between blocks (will definitely be replaced with healthy solution). If you want to sync your wallet, just make sure that your PC is online and leave the wallet sync for a while. Then check it again (it can be after several hours) and you'll see instead of "No block source available" - "Synchronizing with network". In 2-3 days it should be finished (it's normal and even fast if we compare it to other cryptos).
I can confirm this. Installed a fresh wallet this morning and it synced within 4 hours! (200Mb/s internet connection)

People who have issues with lightweight clients: just import your private keys to full clients.
Go to Console, there is a command line walletpassphrase [your password] 1000 (1000 is the number in seconds for the period in which Console will let you input commands and will not ask for your password) importprivkey [your private key]
After that if you yet don't see coins, close your wallet and re-open it. If again nothing, run your wallet with a -rescan parameter. After that all coins which are on your address (linked to a private key which you import) will appear on your balance.
Please understand the basic thing: address-private key is a static pair, it's not possible to change the private key for the address, if a private key is compromised, you have to immediately move coins to another address with another private key. Until you and only you know your private key, you fully control the address. Lightweight clients don't share your private keys (this info remains client-side).
Any wallet is simply a collection of your addresses and private keys for them. When you make transactions, new addresses can be generated automatically in your wallet and coins go to them (change), and you control all these addresses, every crypto works in this way.
That's why it's necessary to backup your wallet.dat from time to time, to be sure that you have an access to all your private keys. You should encrypt your wallet with a strong password to protect private keys and your operations.
If you generate a paper wallet, private keys are kept offline, it's the safest way.

How Import private key? Mooncoin QT only using the official ‘importprivkey’ function. Decrypting your Mooncoin Paper Wallets If you have encrypted your paper wallets you will need to decrypt them. - Go to www.walletgeneretor.com - Download the zip file - Load the offline page - Click on Tab named ‘Wallet Details’ - Enter your private key, click view details - Enter your BIP38 passphrase, click ‘Decrypt BIP38’ - Copy your encrypted private key which will appear below Importing the decrypted key to Mooncoin QT Backup your Mooncoin QT Wallet – Before you do anything, make a backup of your Mooncoin QT wallet. Launch Mooncoin QT: Launch your Mooncoin-QT client in Offline Mode. This is more secure to import private keys. When the Mooncoin QT client is up, go to Help >> Debug window from the menu bar and then click on “Console ”. Unlock your QT wallet if you encrypted it: If your wallet is encrypted you will need to unlock it first. If your Mooncoin QT wallet is not encrypted, just skip this step. To unlock your wallet, run the following command without quotes, where 600 stands for the seconds your wallet is unlocked. wallet passphrase MYPASSWORD 600 Import the private key: Now import your private key using following command without quotes Importprivkey xxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxx ‘label’ (if used label) Be Patient: Now just wait…three to six minutes while your private key is being imported to Mooncoin QT. Its possible Mooncoin QT may freeze up, if so just leave it 15 minutes and close it. Load Mooncoin QT up and you should see your newly imported address in the address book.

- Enter your BIP38 passphrase, click ‘Decrypt BIP38’
not sure if it's needed, the BIP38 passphrase encrypts private keys (an additional level of security), but if you forget your passphrase for private keys, you'll lose them. If you keep your private keys offline and in a safe place, probably better not to deal with additional encrypting of them, anyway you decide.

All coins go up and down. This is normal. Will definitely go back up. Our volume has been too insane the past few days it had to go down.
