I am loving zpool more and more these days, and I'm pointing all of my miners in your direction Cheesy

One thing I'd love to see is the hashrate of my miner through the API.
Right now I can't see a way to get that information, and I've having to check that the unpaid balance is increasing to know that a miner is still running.

Is there any chance that could be added please?

Thank you Smiley

Look at the WalletEx API and watch the Accepted rate incrementing. You can see it per miner as well.  Plus the miner won't show up here if its not connect to the stratum.

It would be awesome to have hashrate as then it can be checked via the api, and the miner can be restarted if it drops below a certain thresh hold

Looks like the x14 algo (BERN) has disappeared again.  I've seen it do this before, it throws my Baikals offline when they can't find it.  I removed it from them for now, so just a heads up.

Hrmm, my baikals are still going ok.

It's offline cause BERN lost all it's peers again. It's been a PITA lately for this reason. I don't have the time to mess with it again to find peers but when I do, I'll put it back...

doesn't add up? What do you mean? I've disabled it on stratum until I look into it but it's still on the same chain as cryptopia...

Just a heads up, this is the type of support ticket that... well... gets you no support and your accounts locked/banned.

I do my best to resolve all issues, but if you respond with that. I don't have time for it.

For some reason it keeps saying its profitability is higher than it really is. like a lot higher. I saw most the network hash on it and it was at most getting a bock every minute. I had 33% of the share and getting very very little.

it's just cause the diff is so low. not much hash gets put on it and it's mBTC remember.

TTF is if ALL the pool's hash was pointed at that coin, not what hash is currently on it.

Nyan doing the same thing.

Looks like TTF is ~10 seconds. and earns .0005 mBTC

6 * 60 * 24 * .0005 mBTC = 4.32 mBTC

ok, you guys don't get it.  the pool TTF is a guess based on COMBINED POOL HASHRATE.  Not that one coin's hashrate the pool is diverting to it.

You don't calculate your hashrate based on TTF ever;  because it's a floating variable based on hashrate beyond your own.  This is not how you calculate things based on YOUR hashrate.

you calculate profitability based on your pool calculated hashrate, and the average of algo over the same period to time;  the longer the period of time, the more stable the calculation is.  Luck always will be there, so you can't exactly account for it, just figure plus or minus 15-20%.

not to be calculated by "how long it could theoretically take under a completely different set of circumstances/hashrate to find a block in just one coin of many that are mined on that algo".

You're right, I don't understand exactly how it works.

I do understand when something isn't working correctly. I was just trying to point out and understand why the pool was mining a very non profitable coin.

you might wanna consider why it was mining that coin at that instance... most likely exchange rate is high for some reason, or the diff dropped on that coin enough to make throwing some hash at it worth it.

It's not a problem with the pool;  it's the nature of the beast.  It is working correctly;  exactly as its programmed to do, not as you think it should be configured...  =/

Just like the profitability estimate;  it initially shows you what people are selling for as an earned value;  but when its sold;  the buys could be on the opposite side of the spectrum and are lower than the sell orders (typical market).  It would be less noticeable if it were configured as only counting the low (purchase orders), that way the highs are felt in a better light.

How long does it take to adjust? I noticed we enabled the coin again and it is still no where near as profitable as it says it is.
