Feathercoin [FTC]

For some reason I can't the wallet to connect, I tried redownloading it, opening and closing it a few times like was said to do below, still no luck.

I cannot get connections on the Feathercoin client..

Mine did that once I just had to restart the client a couple times.

If on windows go to appdata roaming feathercoin and make a feathercoin.conf with this in it and restart your client if your on linux then hopefully you know where to put the feathercoin.conf.

I have tried all of this but still cannot seem to get a connection.

You can also use LP but stratum works best since new blocks come so frequently.

I didn't properly fix P2Pool, I just changed a few things so it'd run with feathercoind since it's a fork of litecoind:
Modify bitcoin\networks.py , line 91 (the litecoin settings) to ADDRESS_VERSION=14, and change the P2P_Port and RPC_Port to match litecoind/feathercoind configs
networks.py line 60 : PERSIST=False,  also changed some of the ports
BOOTSTRAP_ADDRS=''.split(' ') , SHARE_PERIOD=30  to help with stales, and since the other settings weren't changed, I don't want to broadcast to other peers, it's not setup for that

Put a litecoin.conf in the place it normally goes with the same settings as feathercoin.conf

C:\Python27\python.exe run_p2pool.py --bitcoind-rpc-port 8100 --bitcoind-p2p-port 9336 --net litecoin -w 19327

is someone calculate earnings with the pool? i find a block in a 1hr approximately solo mining, and here in 40 mins i earned like 10coins?

It's based on a ~24 hour round, so your share should stay in there for a while. I tried reducing this to 1 hour but I wasn't successful, so I've been donating FC to the pool users. So you should get (after 1 hour of mining) the same coins you would have gotten in 1 hour but spread out over 24 hours.

I tried tweaking these settings
CHAIN_LENGTH=24*60*60//10, # shares
REAL_CHAIN_LENGTH=24*60*60//10, # shares
TARGET_LOOKBEHIND=200, # shares
SPREAD=120, # blocks

but no blocks were being found after I changed them.

Ok, the daemon is up and running, Hopefully it will be caught up soon. I have put no restrictions on the number of connections, so it can act as a good goto node.

I donated some coins to the pool users for helping me test and when we weren't getting blocks cause of my mistakes (~3.5k total), but hopefully it works fine now.

Also, I shortened the share window to ~1 hour so it will re-balance faster with new hashers coming online.

Local rate: 22.6MH/s (4.9% DOA) , getting a block every 4 minutes or so now and my feathercoind is much better connected than in the past with 38-67 peers.
