Even if you use Bitcoin through Tor, the way transactions are handled by the network makes anonymity difficult to achieve. Do not expect your transactions to be anonymous unless you really know what you're doing.

I've found received payment for 5 blocks but number of transactions says 19... have I found 19 blocks and it just hasn't processed yet?

Those blocks are orphaned.  Which means someone beat you to it.  Makes sense with block increasing so fast (every few seconds)

The build problem is in util.h and can be fixed by

sed -i -e 's/pthread2/pthread/g' util.h

For some reason someone hacked it to use pthread2 instead of the normal pthread used by litecoin.

-MarkM-
Thanks for that.

where should i add this code?

It is a command-line command to change your "pthread2" hacks in util.h back to the normal "pthread" used by litecoin. Why did you change it from pthread to pthread2 in the first place? And having done so, how did you manage to build it?

-MarkM-

So what this means?

getmininginfo

{
"blocks" : 7420,
"currentblocksize" : 1000,
"currentblocktx" : 0,
"difficulty" : 0.00390625,
"errors" : "",

"genproclimit" : -1,
"hashespersec" : 0,
"networkhashps" : 6331024,
"pooledtx" : 0,

blocks - blockchainheight
currentblocksize - size of the block (probably in B)
current block tx - transactions in block
difficulty - mining difficulty
hashespersec - you're not hashing
network hash per seconds
testnet - you're not using the testnet

So how many coins is everyone up to now? 40383.21089347 FC here with another 15 blocks waiting for confirmation.

Nice. How many Kh/s?

I dumped 2.5MH/s on it as soon as I saw it come out in the forum.

Unfortunately I was at work and didn't see it until about 2 hours ago. I've got 2.1Mh/s, so I think I'm doing ok.  Grin

When I saw it I started solo mining and the block count was like 300 or so.
Now it's over 8,000   Smiley

I will NEVER ask for any kind of funds up front in a buy/sale of anything on bitcointalk.

22401 now...

I am running three rigs at about 800 k/h each.

In reality I am taking it easy because I just plugged in the scrypt config from memory without switching the rigs to windows.

If I really wanted to hit it hard, I would get my lazy butt downstairs and switch the rigs to the windows (scrypt coin setup)

I am also running a private pushpool to reduce greatly on the stale blocks

Hey if all the GPU miners abandon it like they did so many other chains (including BBQcoin for many months) that will be great, this will be yet another chain that CPU miners can quietly mine month after month maybe before the GPU bullies catch on again and come back like happened with BBQcoin and may yet happen with GeistGeld, Tenebrix, I0coin and so on...

It is really nice to have coins most people ignore, as that gives all those people who keep complaining about GPUs and FPGAs and ASICs something they can mine, often for many months at a stretch. In a few years such coins will have huge population of holders who mined with with just their CPUs over the years quietly, under the radar...

Would folks be willing to trade feather coin Lite coin for  some  of my BBQ coin?

BBQ coin is already worth at least 1000 per bit coin,and according to BBQ coin it's going to be on two exchanges very quickly.

I got 11k BBQ coin,or 11bit coin worth.

I'll do 250 BBQ per 1000 FC Wink

I think it's a refreshing break from the roller coaster of late.
Apparently quite a few people think so to -- or there wouldn't be almost 9K blocks gone   Wink
