Bitcoin has existed for longer than:

- Uber
- WhatsApp
- Instagram
- Snapchat

Don’t underestimate Bitcoin's survivability.

PS: Bitcoin will outlive all of the above.

More like a given, at least if we go by maximum to date.

Fast forward 2021: trillion

I think that’s a real possibility
Only if USD has crashed insanely, 1btc being a trillion would be chaotic. Anyone who has done a faucet would be wealthy.
$1 Trillion market cap is like $70k per coin or something, too lazy to get the exact number.

Correct.
JSRAW was saying we’ll have a 1 trillion USD marketcap in 2021. I think it will happen.
$70,000 ish per coin would definitely fit into the usual post halving parabolic bull run that we’ve witnessed thus far in bitcoin’s lifetime.

@kingcolex - I wouldn’t know what to do with 1 trillion USD per coin. We could buy our own countries if we put in together Cheesy

Jokes aside - $70,000 per coin will do great for me Smiley

Looking at the charts over the last 24 hours... I'm starting to get the fear. Not so sure about us hitting $9k within two weeks any more.

Let us see how the corn grows.

Hodl.

The price is about $3k higher than it should be at this part of the cycle.   We are already higher than what the December 2019 peak should be. It’s all gravy.

If ever BTC get to 1 trillion USD per coin it means we get to an Hyperbitcoinisation state and FIAT money collapsed.
Very slim chance, I would say 1% in 50 years.
In that case I assure you two things:
  • you won't buy a country with it 1BTC
  • you won't need to change into USD to actually spend BTC.
Think what happened to BTC/VES, only bigger AND global.
