Once a transaction has 6 confirmations, it is extremely unlikely that an attacker without at least 50% of the network's computation power would be able to reverse it.

Now we´re getting closer to my "buy in" point. I knew it all along. The sky is the limit. We had enough consolidation, let´s search for new frontiers !

I would like to add that when Carolina and Salma are around (actually where is Meuh?) the sentiment here gets really cool.
We have also used some of Carolina power to calm a fellow bitcointalker named chopsticks.
It does not work for Bitcoin Cashers as we speak. They drive on the wrong side of the road and they have empty roads that no one uses.
But they have nice holograms inside the exchanges. If you get what I mean.

I would not mind a little BTC price correction right now....  I don't really care...

Could you at least try to be coherent?

Within the context, I am being very coherent - especially when I am in a state of:

CITEEEEEEEEEEEEEE!!!!!!!!!!

Have you ever heard about that?  Are you human?

I am witnessing this censorship.

As much as I disagree with them, deleting posts is cowardly and shameful.

Let us confront their ideas in a free and open forum, selective deletion only strengthens their claims, a corollary of the Streisand effect, foolish and counterproductive.

It may be hard to get to the bottom of this.

We don't yet know if any censorship occurred.

Peter R would have been sent a message about the removal of his post.

If there is any proof, please let's see it.

Otherwise it must be construed as further dishonesty.

Whether or not you wish to consider it censorship or not is open to interpretation. However, posts dealing directly with the topic at hand -- "Wall Observer BTC/USD - Bitcoin price movement tracking & discussion" -- are being suppressed by mod deletion.

I deleted the posts in question. Altcoin shilling/trolling was never actually allowed here, but the rules were never enforced strictly.

I normally tolerate it from regulars like jbreher and Peter R, but they've been emboldened lately. And I've been receiving a lot more complaint PMs recently.

It's too bad you don't have ban powers.  Re-posting of deleted posts should be met with a temporary ban.

even though infofront does not have certain powers, mods and administrators might agree to temp ban folks who are reposting their deleted posts... so there is a "report" button for those kinds of outrageous behaviors, too.

I dunno about that, in a Trump Presidency.

In my mind, "Terrorist Drives Locomotive Through Carolina Music Festival" would get even the most cucked of liberals on the way to being stunningly red-pilled.

Absurdism and all.

The good thing for Bitcoin is that the recent rise appears to have low correlation with any movements in BCH. This means that the recent rise does not come from BCH holders playing the markets and moving their coins back and forth, but possibly from genuine, new investors intending to keep their coins and support BTC, especially now that there are no forks on the horizon to cause uncertainty.

Could this mean that we are heading for some stability and a rise to a new ATH and beyond? I hope so.

Its the first thing i checked as well. Its not a swing from other Alts either. A clean break through $7k is needed to confirm the resumption of the bull

I made the same observation. This creates some pressure on BCH holders who are still betting on the wrong horse. Once they realize their mistake more and more people will switch back to BTC.

What exchange trades BTG?

yobit hitbit bitfinex etc

and trezor hasnt release a splitting tool yet. i knew it

Is there a way to sweep these airdrop coin without typing in private keys into smartphone or some web page? I would love to dump these coins, but I'm little bit picky where I put my private keys, would never paste them into something that is not standalone open-sourced application.

Move your BTC, then your BCASH, and then put in your private key.

While you are at it, claim your Clams and Bitcore coins also.

I'm also chiming in to agree with this.

Longer term if BCH eventually drifts down to 0.1 BTC (which I think it will) it'll be really interesting to see how hard the BCH whales try to defend it. It might end up being Custer's last stand with a bit of luck.

Almost back to $7000 now....

Well thank god for good samaritans like Mrpumperitis, who warned us of the terrible dump we are experiencing now.

But seriously, do people get paid to post that kind of shit? Amazing.
