for most coins it won't be a valid comparison. they use completely different algorithms and machines to mine and the figures can't be compared. the only direct comparison is bcash pretty much which uses the same machinery. |

Did in the crashes/dips in 2015/2016/2017 also happen after a huge Altcoin pump ?
The crash in January 2014 happened after a huge bitcoin AND altcoin pump, but there was another bitcoin AND altcoin pump in late January/early February. |

To put our previous annual dip into perspective:  And that's exactly why you should always think outside the hourly or 30 minutes chart. Atleast try the daily or heck even the weekly will do the job as long as you keep things into perspecitve. Another great tip, never bet against bitcoin. You will always end up regretting it one way or another. |
