Trying to do tax planning. I have thousands of trades across a dozen exchanges in different countries in all sorts of alts.  I am really struggling to figure it out so good fucking luck to the tax authority.  It would take a CPA 3 months.   I’m just going to have to make a best efforts estimate.  Half the exchanges don’t even export trade records in .csv.  Plus miner fees and dust lost in web wallets etc.  Total mess.

Hey, how's it going boys.

Chopstick here.

So I find it interesting how a day or so after going on an anti-Core rant, my account is mysteriously "hacked", PW changed, my account is inaccessible , can't restore it,  change password doesn't work, secret passphrase doesn't work, etc etc.

In any event, Bitcoin is still doing what it's always done...

Pumpin' and dumpin'

The only difference now is that wall street is trading our futures. Wheeee.

I'm not sure why people got excited about that.

The first thing they did was short it.

Yup.  This site is really tight with Blockstream. And just like Blockstream, C0bra wants to change the POW to a different... ... wait...

...No your implied theory is bullshit.

Oh well.

Some exchanges allow dust trades, so buying one doge can result in a thousand trades from dust orders a bot put on. Any auditor looking through that will have a nightmare.

Maybe some exchanges deliberately allow dust orders to make an audit almost impossible.

I just used this web site, paid the fee and did the best that I could. https://bitcoin.tax/ If the IRS auditors want to do a full audit and end up wasting more resources than they will possibly recoup, C'est la vie.

This is what puzzles me too, i have thousands and thousands of small trades, especially from lending at exchanges. i could never ever document that accurately. But i´m glad not to be American.
There´s one thing i did right, in my life  Smiley

It´s not that i want to evade taxes, but i want to evade the work that comes with it.
I heard: passports in "Vanuatu" are not thaat expensive.

We are working the ridge line on Dark forest and doing exceptionally well.

+1 Merit.
Nice map and creativity.

I'm not sure if I understand this above map of our possible destinations, and from here, dark forest seems like a small down rather than UP, but perhaps I don't know how to read maps, without a microscope?  I do have one available that I use for other purposes, so maybe I will try again with that, once I clean it up a bit?

At this time, it seems to me that we are experiencing a slow crawling up, and our BIG test regarding whether UP or down is going to be sub $12k... I mean really this whole path UP has been a grind all the way up from mid-$9ks to presently mid-$11ks.. .. so it is seeming to me that if we can get above $12k, then could be some amount of smooth sailing after that - at least bringing us to the sub $14k territory, which may be another area of resistance.

Dont sell the coin you have to avoid losses. And continue to invest until you have extra money to gain much higher income when value starts to moon.

I have no good TA, but when the lending-percentage starts to rise, it´s a sign, every time.
Now: no sign.
I´ll keep you updated.
