Good morning Bitcoinland and happy Independence Day to all in the land of the incarcerated and the home of the militarily emboldened.

I see we had another wee leg up... currently $6692USD/$8805CAD (Bitcoinaverage).

Hopefully this short-term uptrend will become longer-term. Go Bitcoin go.

Looks like the syscoin blame for the thing on binance was just a mere blip on bitcoin charts radar.
It couldn't be called a hack since it wasn't a brute force to get into the exchanges wallet like all the other hacks in the exchanges history.

Yeah it was 7000 btc that were taken off the exchange shown on a wallet address an hour and a half after the trades were done.
The syscoin team did warn all exchanges on their twitter page a few hours before hand there was a flaw in their blockchain.
So binance could of shutdown withdrawals earlier and even suspended syscoin trading all together.

I agree that it is interesting how each of us has differing factors, and even differing entrance points that change how we weigh the factors.  I recognize that even with miners there is a certain speculative aspect, and sometimes the variations in speculation can provide some explanation to the seemingly exponentially increasing hash rate that does not necessarily correlate with BTC price.  So, some miners, even smaller players, have greater abilities to cushion themselves from volatility or to speculate that even if there are periods of mining at low profits or even a loss, that future prices could more than make up for the low profits/loss periods.  Also, some experiential aspect of mining can cause someone to want to continue to mine and to contribute, learn and interact with the crypto space, even though strictly speaking there could be more profits (and mobility/liquidity) from merely buying the various coins instead of mining them.  Further, hahahaha.. the lottery aspect of mining a variety of coins in which some of them could upwardly explode and to off-set the costs/losses of mining some of the other coins.

i like tinkering with electronic stuff, been building PCs since the 90s or so. and mining (as a hobby), while not for everyone, does have some advantages, like mine a new coins that are not on the main (read: more or less trustworthy) exchanges yet. since my rig is paid off i can play around with the different alts at bit. although mostly i mine to the most profitable (for example mainly eth at the moment) and exchange all of what i mine for btc, with some coins that i think may go up more relative to btc in the near(ish) future i will sell enough to pay electric and keep the rest for speculation. if it goes up, exchange to btc, if not oh well it was house money anyway.

its fun being in crypto. totally new concepts that could be game changers, cool toys, drama that is occasionally interesting, learning new things, maybe make some money. what could go wrong heh. and we get to play in this space.

not better

That's the new feature that is giving me the most angst. However, I noticed the API between the trading bot that I am using and Coinbase Pro is working a little better. Before, when my Bot made a purchase or a sell order, it treated it as a filled order, even if it was not. Now, my Bot will actually show it as a pending order until filled. Not sure if the web bot that I am using improved it on their end though or if Coinbase improved it on their end.

I wonder if I am the only one noticing that as people here reveal certain political inclinations it sometimes seems to line up with a prevalence to back or reject the big blocker / bcash / anti Segwit lines of thought.
Interesting observation.
I believe trolls only play at being glib neo-fascists for rhetorical effort. There aren't as many real people here expressing genuine opinions as you'd think, is my guess.

Coindeal becomes shirt sponsor for Premier League football team Wolves: https://www.wolves.co.uk/news/club/20180704-wolves-unveil-coindeal-as-shirt-sleeve-sponsor/

I have to admit to not having heard of Coindeal before - a crypto exchange launched in March 2018 apparently - but I just saw that they're going to be sponsoring football Premier League team Wolves next season.

They seem to have listed some pretty obscure coins, but thought this was interesting, especially since "the deal is the first ever sports sponsorship deal involving a cryptocurrency exchange platform."

Disclaimer: I know nothing about Coindeal, but I am a Wolves fan!

Or you don't leave the basement enough to notice the Jewish Kalergi plan has already destroyed several white nations on earth like Italy, Sweden, Germany, etc, and their plan is to destroy all of them and likely even the Japanese and Chinese too eventually.  The only way to avoid further destruction of white civilization and various other groups, prevent Jewish banking usury enslavement and their lying media monopolies, is to make the Machiavellian choice of expelling the evil cult of Jews from every single country on the planet for their crimes, just like they've already been expelled 180+ times before for the same crimes.

In other words, you highly underestimate how many people have this opinion, because the goyim know, and the goyim are ready to send the demonic jew straight to hell where it belongs.

is it me or does bitcoin look bullish today?
Its not a one off, seems to be a fair regular trend for the moment.    It was looking slightly negative but its doing what I call stair stepping higher, where even if its jagged its going to higher lows.  I guess thats bullish then, still got people talking gloomy and/or doubtful so thats a positive also

Yea that seems quite important in not allowing a ceiling to form or set like cement.  We are taking a new high in this modest turn to the positive.    Baby steps or whatever is fine by me, it seems the wrong timing to be negative now even if a bear.

I'll risk a jinx and say in a positive phase and MA at 6,300 as a measure of that positive action.  Highest bars on the green close, OBV doesnt seem to have it especially bullish but I dont take that as gospel
