My gf was moaning throughout most of 2018 telling me I’d thrown away the chance for us to be rich. She was upset & cried a lot to be honest
She said bitcoin is dead & I threw away X amount of money etc but I told her this is how it goes, a normal cycle.

Now she’s checking the price 10 times a day again, telling me to buy all the time.

If I got five seconds of that from someone I'd chuck them in the nearest river. Assuming you both put money in why didn't divide your hoard? She'd be free to ruin herself on condition that she never moaned about it.

I think LFC did a the investment alone not? But however he HODLs it and make sure they both be happy with the outcome, btw gentlemand don't be to harsh, not everyone gets it from second 1....
we see many OG's in this thread as well being here since 2011-12 or so... if they would be instant strong believers from day one ... but NO also on this thread there have been guys fsold there CORN to early and stuff, though I think @this moment we are a thread of strong HODLers/believers.

My wife isn't bad at all with btc and just trust me. Now my parents are different, my mom told me to sell everything at $250.

You should've bought $250 worth of limited edition 'collector's' plates with airbrushed photos of howling wolves on for your mother as an investment and then tell her a few years down the line you paid for them with the bitcoin you were holding back for her.

I would guess that is not a popular view. Most posters would refuse to believe it.

I always have difficulties remembering when I had my first BTC’s but it was @350-ish right in front of the BULLrun (the one introduced me to BTC “told the story many times...https://bitcointalk.org/index.php?topic=2827596.msg50321842#msg50321842” was in around or just in front mtGox...”)
He kept accumulating etc all the time and when he met me properly he introduced me and my GF to BTC and we jumped on it with not to much thinking, I was lucky cause I won the first pieces easily and thats just a good start with something that was unknown for me....

To make it short that game grew out as one of my better friends and my GF end up working in his BTC-related business ....

She was lucky and really bought them on the cheap and did HODLed it all the way till today, with no selling intentions ..... i’m a very lucky Guy that we have similar thought on this matter, cause I can guess in a bearmarket its not easy with all other couples....
