In another thread I said "It will be another 12 years from today and then 99% of all bitcoin will have been mined, and the block reward is 0.78125 BTC." To which someone else replied: "At today's prices, 0.78125 BTC is $6,328. Miners currently get $101,250 per 12.5 btc block reward. Let's assume miners need $100k rewards per block to stay profitable or afloat. So, 0.78125 btc could be $101,250 in the future or $129,600 per BTC and 16x from today." Opentimestamps says their timestamping is worth less than 1 cent each, but I wouldn't call them valueless. In dealing with BTC tho, most people are not concerned about the timestamp itself, but rather the coins, and if the transaction has confirmed in a block. |

There are several different types of Bitcoin clients. The most secure are full nodes like Bitcoin Core, which will follow the rules of the network no matter what miners do. Even if every miner decided to create 1000 bitcoins per block, full nodes would stick to the rules and reject those blocks.

Guys through Tensorcharts.com it is seen through Bitfinex that the price takes a good course, there are almost no strong sales walls, apparently it is going up very sexy.  Could it be that the bulls are waking up? |

I had a quick listen on headphones, i also have been a fan of Primus since two dozen years, btw. The music is great, but it's likely better to listen to the album as a whole on stereo speakers. I have used a pair of beyerdynamic dt-770 pro, no equalizer or whatsoever effects on my notebook's main analog out. It was pretty exhausting to listen to the pinpoint-like separation of instruments and voices, in stereo placement as well as frequency spectrum and "room" definition, and also slightly glassy quality of the overall sound. This might sound really good on tube amps/speakers that add plenty of "glue" to audio material. I'll have to listen to it again on my analog stereo, but the kids are sleeping. Thanks for the link.
