The monthly update: After an annoying hot summer it became quickly chilly in September, at least we got some rain for more green in Q4. Where are the days you can enjoy life outside? Well then, more time for work and accumulation. Speaking of which, September was another good month to gather some more BTC as we can see in chart above. As mentioned last month, I bought my Satoshis this month from Coinbase Pro, as advertised just 0.15% trading fee, that was is. I've noticed they do not batch transactions? Strange. Well, as they wish, better that the new 0.5% trading fee and 0.0005 BTC withdrawal fee on Bitstamp. Gentlemen, have a pleasant October. In reviewing the chart, it is a bit funny that we think about the BTC price break out as breaking above $4,200 on April 1, but in reality there were gains in February and March, too. Yeah, little cooling off from the BIG ASS 3.5x upward spurt might not have been a bad idea, and it would surely be nice if such cooling off is over, but I am financially and psychologically prepared for either way as long as we don't go below $4,200 at all and below $6k for any meaningful amount of time, beyond a week or two, at most. The better case would be that the bottom is in at $7,714 - but I am NOT going to rest in any kind of meaningful comfort, unless we get back above $9k territory. 4th quarter.. let's see how she plays out.

Bitcoin addresses contain a checksum, so it is very unlikely that mistyping an address will cause you to lose money.

1. Pathetic attempt by "The Crypto System Overlords" to make shitcoins relevant 2. What then, would a 2.5 be? 3. The SEC don't give no shits to the outsiders' "crypto grading system". They are very binary. In their eyes either it is a security, or it is not one.

My man.... infofront is doing a good job from when he's the man of this thread.... Show him some respect I have no respect for people who steal other peoples work. There should be an explanation and attribution in the first post. I've never pretended that I created this thread. I mostly left the OP alone for posterity's sake. I never really considered it before, as all the regulars here already know the story. Out of respect for Adam, the thread, and also for posterity, I agree that there should be a note about the thread originator. So, I have added a note. but I also think you're an asshole, and went about this like an asshole.

ASSEMBLE THE AARMYYYY!
We are taking 200DMA back from the BEARS!
so don't stop now. My orders sitting around 8420 (because reasons) and didn't get filled yet. 200DMA @8441 I hope you are ready to short shiteboy. Don’t let us down now. Whiteboy420's BTC shorting orders should have filled. That is if he is actually putting his money where his BIG mouth is, as many WO regulars would likely doubt to be the case, since most troll/shill nocoiner bitcoin naysayers fail/refuse to put their money where their frequently too BIG for their britches mouthes are.

It seems to me that the end of the month futures closing has always been met with a big crash. Apparently someone realized this early and sold a few days before the end of the month.
I suspect the price will climb back up with yet another crash at the end of the month. Perhaps a day or so earlier than this month.
Until BAKKT grows a bit more volume.

I paid US$6,500 installed for a 8.5kw system which is a very large system including top quality panels and microinverters (not the cheaper string inverters). You should be able to get a decent smaller system for less than US$3k installed. I don't understand the pricing you have quoted. If you size the system appropriately, you should be able to pay off the panels in 3 - 4 years. Yes this requires staying in the same house for 3 - 4 years After that it is free electricity. But it also improves the resale value of your home. The power companies pay me about $4 per day for the solar I send to the grid. My quarterly power bill is the power company paying me about $360. Once your HOA realises they can make money off it, they will come around. I put some panels in suboptimal positions so that I do not have any panels directly visible from the front but the system is deliberately oversized to cope with imperfect panel placement. Sorry, pal, in my neck of the woods the cost of solar is $2.81/w or $23.8K for a 8-9kw system and $28.1K for a 10kw system. After tax rebates (one year later if 'someone' does not cancel them) it would be $16.7 or $19.7K respectively. Plus, i would need to install new roof-another $12-14K. Why would i need a small system, btw? I have needs

What is the feed in tariff rate where you are. I am .11cents AUD. 20 cents AUD. Solar Boost Plus. If you switch to Origin you should be able to get 15 cents. https://www.originenergy.com.au/solar/feed-in-tariff-rates.html#ratesI bought a battery because I don’t think those prices can last. Not with spot prices on the NEM going to zero at noon. Thanks for the info. My Solar is being installed tomorrow. Currently I am with Alinta without a contact lock in...so I could switch.

We are working with a solar company that claims to achieved 70% efficiency. Unfortunately it is not production ready but they may partner with us to showcase their product.
It would be truly revolutionary if they can achieve it.

Wow Arrie, you really got mad at that fat guy. He doesn't seem to be terribly bright. Not worth the anger if you ask me. I did like your poetic impetus though! Yeah, you are probably right, but there is something about his posts that gets to me. No other shitposter does that, although Jbreher comes right up to the edge sometimes.

"The @federalreserve Desk also will offer daily overnight repo operations for an aggregate amount of at least $75B each, until Thursday, October 10, 2019."
That is about $4,175 per bitcoin. Fortunately, Ctrl-P does not work with #Bitcoin. https://twitter.com/Bitcoin/status/1178730068161392640Pullbacks during previous bull runs: $490 -> $289 (-41%) $780 -> $468 (-40%) $1,115 -> $750 (-32%) $1,350 -> $900 (-33%) $3,000 -> $1,800 (-40%) $4,950 -> $3,000 (-39%) $7,800 -> $5,500 (-29%)
Current pullback: $13,880 -> $7,800 (-43%)
