Why people isn't selling in front at this 6000btc wall? pls  Grin

cause they are still hoping that some whale will remove it, or buy it.

but, if that wall stays there long enough, they eventually will.

people just love to panic sell. just be patient.

This is a very good sign. Means noone is so desperate so start panic selling. That wall will be eaten is some time. These prices are bottom and we are going only up from here (maybe flash crash if gox is gone).

It was the same at $130 at stamp and $260 on gox.

I hope it's someone who just woke up, saw Mark resigned and the twitter got emptied and freaked out. If this is inside info trading I'll be well screwed lol

All these real walls. Making me feel abit uneasy...

Walls mean sellers are done chasing the buyers down, the more ask walls, the closer we are to the bottom.

Once those walls are gone, the spring springs.

http://www.reddit.com/r/Bitcoin/comments/1ysaz2/sarahcoinbit_from_mtgox_support_says_there_is_no/

I mean I don't know how much this will quell panic but it is but a glimmer of hope

Meh, an IRC message from a support agent. Not sure how much weight that carries. If I were running a company that faced similar issues, I'd be screaming from the rooftops that all funds are safe, because in a situation like this, that is exactly what customers want to hear. Unless of course, funds are not safe...

see screaming we're not insolvent and etc etc. is more of a sign of a dying company. It is important cause I am sure she's knows the coins are fine and spends her time dealing with pissed off customers who ask her the same set of questions and act like she can speed up those in mtgox making management style decisions related to when they've completed and adequate withdrawal revamp. and or tech side implementing the solutions

Anyone who trusts the words of "Charlie" is dumb.  You don't know if that's really him, and even if it is, is he really home now?   Was his account hacked.  So much incredible FUD.    Ignore every last shred except facts.

Fact.
1.  MtGox shut off their twitter.

Speculation:
Twitter shutoff:  Who does that?  Certainly not a company about to fix their issues and not one that was being bailed out.  If they were being bailed out, they would have used twitter to announce it as it needs to be public quickly I would think.

Charlie quotes:are speculative and who knows if it is really even the kid?  Who would be that silly to spread insider information like that so publically when they are already under federal charges.  That's just asking for trouble when you manipulate a market.

I get you, but the flip side is... "we are about to go bust I need to flee to rio and liquidate my stash.... oh and also very important I must delete my twitter account?"

It does not make sense no matter how you dice it... unless someone else is going to be doing the talking for Mt Gox from now on.

One or two whales are - maybe they do have information. Insofar the market is very slowly but constantly betting against them, and eating the walls.

That is interesting to watch. Where does this little army of buys come from?
I think it is either one of the first signs that we are close to the bottom or just another station on the way to hell. Who knows.

I'm talking about bitcoinbuilder. Someone sold a few K coins at 0.19 while we were at 0.35 (and real ratio was 0.27)

The BitStamp wall has been at the same price for about 7hours now...I watched it go in 10K @600, and then it was moved a couple of times before settling at 579.34 since when it hasn't moved.  I tend to think if this was a tactic in part of a larger strategy, then we would have seen the wall move price testing support.

That it hasn't been moved suggests s/o simply cashing out or a naive or inexperienced trader rather than a master manipulator.

NB Above theory could be total bollocks

These Walls

(disembodied voice of Mark singing as he merges his consciousness with the new Gox Midas trading engine)

This is so hard for me
To find the Bitcoins
My engines standing still

Coins captive inside of me
All the traders start to hide
Transactions not getting through

Watch me
Fading
I'm losing
All my Bitcoins
Falling into darkness

Tear down these walls for me
Stop me from going under
You are the only one who knows
I'm hodling them!

It's not too late for me
To keep from sinking further
I'm trying to find my way out
Tear down these walls for me now

So much uncertainty
I don't like this FUD
I'm sinking like a stone

Each time I try to speak
There's another reddit post
And it changes everything

Watch me
Crawl from
The wreckage
Of my silence
MT GOX is
Failing

Tear down these walls for me
Stop me from going under
You are the only ones who know
I'm hodling them

It's not too late for me
To keep from sinking further
I'm trying to find my way out
Tear down these ask walls

Every time you choose sell anyway
Is it worth the price you pay
Is there someone who will wait for you
at Bitcoinbuilder
One more time?

Watch me
Fading
I'm losing
All my instincts
Falling into darkness

Tear down these walls for me
Stop me from going under
You are the only one who knows
I'm holding back

It's not too late for me
To keep from sinking further
I'm trying to find my way out
Tear down these walls for me now

Tear down these walls for me
It's not too late for me
Tear down these walls for me
