This graph is staggering:

I'm not a commie, but there's no way we can have any semblance of stability on any level with this kind of inequality.

No need to worry.

Corona Virus might be able to help in evening things out.. There won't hardly be no boomers left, so how would they be able to have any wealth... ?

According to NIST and ECRYPT II, the cryptographic algorithms used in Bitcoin are expected to be strong until at least 2030. (After that, it will not be too difficult to transition to different algorithms.)

This is, in my opinion, one of the more likely reasons these coins would have moved.  The person making these waves and taking this opsec risk HAS to have a good reason to do it.

And if that *is* the reason, then i for one applaud them.

Unlikely, if it was a jab at Faketoshi a much better solution would be to just sign "Faketoshi going bankrupt in 3..2.." message (which i still hope they'd do)

Is it Christmas already? It's as if the person that signed the message reads WO  Roll Eyes

Said simply, Wright represented these 145 addresses were part of his bitcoin holdings and were locked in an inaccessible encrypted file. This week, the person that actually controls the private keys to those addresses used those private keys to declare that “Craig Steven Wright is a liar and a fraud” and “doesn't have the keys” for those addresses — thus proving the addresses do not belong to Wright.

3. At counsel’s request, I analyzed the message, bitcoin addresses, and digital signatures; I then compared the 145 bitcoin addresses on Exhibit A to the CSW Filed List. My analysis revealed that:
a) All 145 bitcoin addresses in Exhibit A were claimed by the Defendant on the CSW Filed List;
b) All 145 signatures on Exhibit A were valid digital signatures that had signed the message in ¶2 above by using the private key corresponding to the respective bitcoin address (the only way to generate such a signature).

Bravo to that early miner that doxxed his BTC7250 (~$75MM) stash to put a final nail in Faketoshi's coffin.

BSv- screwed by Faketoshi's shenanigans finally catching up with them
Bcash- screwed by bitmain loosing their profits after the halving

One has some brain cells and the other lots of cash. Their last desperate option is to reverse split back to one coin.

I think all the bear trolling and attempts at scamming around Bitcoin is super weird. Go to any Precious Metals web forum and you never see bugs talking about TA charts, elliott waves, when to buy, when to sell, trying to call bottoms/tops, blah blah blah.

Interesting observation.

Gold bugs are more at the preserving wealth stage. Coiners largely at the earlier hustling-to-get-wealth stage.

The majority of the bugs I've seen on PM forums are self-admitted millennial age range, which blows a large hole in your statement.

Unless you mean crypto tarders... who are in the hustling-to-go-broke stage.

hmmmm, that's odd, when I was active on the Kitco forum, and later on AgStackers, admittedly 10 years ago, it was a bunch of old farts

I read this name mindrust a lot, can someone remind me who that was ??

JJG perhaps??

We cannot forget mindrust... because many of us are capable of acting upon such level of dumb... anyhow, he is like snowball in Animal Farm... have you heard about Animal Farm.. it's a pretty decent book, and not too long nor difficult to read, either.

I read this name mindrust a lot, can someone remind me who that was ??

JJG perhaps??

A limp wrist who sold his bitcoins.

That's another way of saying it.

I read this name mindrust a lot, can someone remind me who that was ??

Funny thing, perhaps what you say you are you become

If I understand you correctly, then we have to remember mindrust so we don't become him... so maybe I am saying the opposite that you are saying, Globb0?

Note:   Even better said... AlcoHoDL

Pro tip...
If you enjoy seeing an endless number of posts with your username mentioned,
simply announce in here that you sold all your coins.

Exactly!!!!!!!!!   And, if you are self-righteous or arrogant about it, then you better watch ur lil selfie.   Tongue  Tongue

Newest Update from Masterluc/Pentarudi

"All right, price doesn't respect short term trend line. I see it likes triangles now. Okay. Hit or miss. Resolution is close."

If he keeps trying, sooner or later, the chart will actually start to become true.. but until then....Masterluc (our true savior and sorcerer) has been having a pretty BIG tendency to be quite wrong in recent times (like the last few years... hahahahaha).

Oh wait, I forgot, it's *my* bitcoin, not the government's money. They want the key they can torture me for it.

Note: It is possible this was an international flight where you do have to declare >10k for customs purposes. But still this does not sound like a job for TSA....

grudging respect for that old bird and her hired goons, moreso if the Kiwis agree with her actions. btw did she ever get any of their guns off them? (answer cmiiw is 'a few')

... it's not all smiley, sweet and light in NZ and the 'world' only gets the view that the global progressive media choose to portray.

She has totally trashed the NZ economy to achieve it with a ridiculously harsh lockdown for over 6 weeks and doled out 20% of GDP on no-questions-asked payments to her voting bloc (twice as much corona-chan rescue spending per capita GDP as other countries), in an election year. NZ govt. debt levels have skyrocketed and now set back ~30 years of frugality in less than 3 months. It's has been an orgy of gubmint spending for people to basically sit on the couch. GDP is expectd to contract by ~20-30% for the affected quarter.

https://www.stuff.co.nz/business/300023771/new-zealands-big-bill-for-lockdown-we-didnt-need

... the hangover will be long and painful, NZ is now one of the most indebted to foreigners per capita countries in the world.

in the past I have seen posts where people discussed the need to declare value if bitcoin you carry too.

Still, it's unclear whenever we cross-border, if we have bitcoin that needs to be declared. Because even if it's not a hardware wallet, I control my bitcoin through phone or basic internet. Similarly, I control fiat also through my phone in bank accounts or credit/debit cards of multiple countries.

So I don't think Bitcoin needs to be declared when you cross the boarder.

Is there any Goku/Vegeta related cap around that no one owns anymore? I'd love to wear one from now on.

No vegetasss hmzzzz Sad

I swear imma find a way to cut a bitch over the internet... Enough with the Vegeta's already. I agree.

We need a new meme.

I might be able to hook you up but the cost has increased exponentially.

Wow! It seems like Vegeta is losing respect in here.

I'd love to have a hat of Legendary Broly then; however, get it done only if you've free time. If you're not free, I'll try to design one myself (though I must admit that I'm no longer very good with Photoshop anymore).

Today was my only day off work this week and I ran out of time but I did manage to find a previous over 9k hat that isn't in use at the moment.

I would argue this is the case also. Since the bitcoins reside on the blockchain of which a copy is kept in nearly every country in the world so technically all bitcoins in existence have crossed all (most?) the borders already. Or put simply, bitcoin blockchains exist in all countries with full bitcoin nodes simultaneously already so all bitcoins exist in all countries with bitcoin full nodes already and technically do not cross borders, but blockchain updates do every block.

The keys crossing borders is neither here nor there since they can be sent electronically or as a word sequence in an email for example. Private keys only confer the right to transfer coins on the blockchain and are not the asset in and of themselves, but more like banking login credentials/authentication/passwords.

Yeah i usuallu don't click on random links. But if you insist:

Quote
In the US, welfare support is about 8 per cent of GDP, although its quantitative easing-to-GDP measure is slightly higher than New Zealand's.

...(twice as much corona-chan rescue spending per capita GDP as other countries)

Are you only taking in account the money spent on "health, welfare, wages and tax reductions"?

That light blue bar labeled "Loan Guarantees" seems to be higher in US too or we don't account for that either?

So according to your link in total, currently NZ is about 10% in front of US in % of GDP spending. But could the little fact that NZ has 0 active cases, when US has over 1million mean anything? Would you venture a guess how much next Brrrrr QE in US will be? Or what the numbers in US will be when (if) they'll get to 0 active cases?

Edit: I can't type
