We are currently in the process of purchasing a 3D scanner (cost is around $25,000) and the manufacturer insists on using Intel CPUs on the PC. They are against AMD for some reason.
What brand of 3D scanner? Just curious. Also Ryzen FTW.

Actually it was PowerPC (MIPS) that apple used. Still often used in automotive products (and F1, Indycar, NASCAR, FE) but not too much elsewhere. As far as switching their desktops to ARM, I don't really see it. It's just not the intended application of the ARM architecture.
For a linux user is this just pure blasphemy? https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=kGLGrWRfjbERunning windowsfx on ubuntu rasb pi distro. Yeah, that's weird.

After the litany of recent hardware exploits on Intel processors became public, you wouldn't be able to pay me to use one. That's aside from the fact Ryzen offers much better performance per dollar, performance per watt, etc.

Bitcoin dominance is of more use to eventually hit a good altcoin run, than Bitcoin's price, imo. It can go up, even if Bitcoin is falling, but alts are falling even faster. But when it goes down, than it hints some good potential profits in alts trading as alts do react on Bitcoin going down too, so Bitcoin dominance rarely goes down just because btc price is going down.

Bawb = next Masterluc ? I'm too lazy to look for proof but you can browse his recent post history.. How recent? I looked and it seems Bawb is mostly into observing things, not making any calls. It could reasonably be argued that Masterluc is also just spouting out a bunch of nonsense, and probably Bawb has tended to be correct more often than Masterluc, even when bawb might not have even been trying... as long as sorcerer powers do not go to Bawb's head, we might be able to find some sorcerer predicting qualities in the way that he is describing his gut bacteria or whether the plates are bouncing or sticking or whether any digits have been stuck in his orifices or the orifices of his acquaintances or if he drove his porsche into a horse while shooting coyotes from the back seat. Once bawb starts trying to actually predict or engage in reverse psychology to manipulate king daddy, then we might have to either bring in trump, the black lives matters folks and/or the WHO in order to demote his ass from sorcerer status.

All this shit in Seattle's Autonomous District is really making me super angry. This country is going full retard.
I wouldn't get worried about that CHAZ shit. It's basically just a bunch of kids having fun by taking themselves seriously.
It's really no different than the hippies having a love-in, while it lasts. Eventually it will burn itself out and they'll go home, but some real good may actually come of it. The worst thing is to let it become a Kent State. Let them paint slogans on the street or pass out flowers or whatever. It's the way the grown-ups react that will have the lasting effect. Eventually the Vietnam war ended and Tricky Dicky resigned in disgrace. Let's see how the bumbling reality-TV actor does in this fall's election. Let's see what anti-law-enforcement-brutality legislation results. It's not worth the stress of anger. But..bbut... "Who run Bartertown?!?!" Just look at all that peace and love being spread. https://twitter.com/WeAreAntifa2020/status/1270635221411524608

Ladies and Gentlemen of the class of the Wall Observer Buy Bitcoin If I could offer you only one tip for the future, Bitcoin would be it The long term benefits of Bitcoin have been proved by scientists whereas the rest of my advice has no basis more reliable than my own meandering experience... I will dispense this advice now... Stacking satoshis is an act of resistance fellas. Do that, rinse and repeat. Have a nice day Not exactly preaching to the choir, are you? 9173 more than 2% in profit now
Good luck, honestly. (ever wondered why there are so few newbie accounts posting in the WO?) Not a newbie, been trading for a while now, I even made a trading challenge thread on btct before, but got tired/bored of trading with such small amounts so i stopped it You can check it out if you want https://bitcointalk.org/index.php?topic=5222343.80Why the fuck would you get bored after just a few months? If you are turning .05 BTC into 1 BTC, then how long would you expect that to take? Should you not stick it out to achieve your goal and to show all of us how it is done? And, you are a newbie, seems to me. I haven't seen you around very much, and you have several posts acting like you know where the BTC price is going.... so set some goals and achieve your objectives several times, and that might be one way to build credibility.... .. and one thing is having a system that might work for a short period of time, but another thing is having a system that works through both bear and bull markets and through a longer period of time... so what good does it do if you proclaim to be able to 20x your money, but you give up in the midst of it... or if you are not really performing better than someone who is working at mcdonalds and DCA'ing $50 per week into BTC then maybe there will be less confidence in your purported cock-sure system, too.

I personally believe that it is difficult to try to contain bitcoin in any kind of exact box like that in terms of the extent of the next exponential rise (presuming that we have one). The graph shows that there are only three previous halvenings to work from, and surely there should be some reasonableness in recognizing that the price rises are not going to be as great, but if our denominator is dollars, and the dollars are being pumped the fuck out of, then how could that denominator remain reliable? I would consider gold and real estate and maybe even other properties to be more reliable denominators, but we even realize that gold, real estate and other properties are a lot less reliable denominators because they all suffer a similar kind of status of being manipulated by dollar financialization... Another aspect is figuring out from where the starting point of the price rise is figured, and yeah, PlanB is seeming to try to pick a somewhat objective point because he is going by the price at the time of the halvening, and surely to me, there seems to be some randomness in picking that price point, rather than looking at the cycles and trying to figure out a kind of base starting out point in which an upward cycle starts and then seeing how far that it goes before correcting again, so sometimes (such as 2013) there are a couple of cycles within a short period of time, but sure, we could also look at 2013 as merely one BIG cycle with a long correction in the middle, but that still would not give us much precision, either in terms of figuring out if the 2020 to 2022 cycle (ish) (again presuming that we are going to have one), might end up with two upward trends or one, or perhaps even three, and surely if there ends up being a smaller one and then a seemingly drug out period of down and then another one (or two more after that), those more volatile dynamics (even while still largely upwards in the whole scheme of things) could shake a decent number of weak hands out in a way that might be more satisfying to the BIGGER institutional (and maybe governmental) whales that might be figuring out ways to get into the space and removing some coins from retail to put into the hands of more financial status quo players. Sure, none of us know how any of this is going to play out, even if the stock-to-flow model remains one of our strongest current guides to try to predict a future that is far from set in stone...including mathematical graphs that are striving to predict human behavior with only three previous cycles of an immature never before seen asset class.

ending up doing a full mindrust and losing it all at the click of a button.
I appreciate that we have mindrust locked into a kind of historical moment of weakness, and probably there is nothing wrong with that picture of mindrust's actions because it seems fair and it works for illustrative purposes, even though mindrust has claimed to have boughten back into BTC... and maybe the degree to which mindrust has bought back into BTC is not really playing out to be newsworthy enough to change any of our view of going "full mindrust," and, likely a decent amount of time needs to pass in order to gain confidence and even some further BTC buying actions from mindrust should take place in order to show that mindrust has either redeemed himself from his past errors (or learned a significant lesson) or gotten back into a more solid committed mindset in terms of his whole financial and psychological approach in viewing and acting upon our savior, king daddy.

Interesting choice of word - stollen. Stollen is a type of bread usually containing dried fruits and sometimes marzipan served at Christmas (especially in Germany). My aunt sends us a loaf every year at Christmas. So he's not wrong there when he says "No it was not stollen" I find it hard to believe that a man with a PhD or two can't manage simple words. or will stollen be the basis for another defamation case?
